I had so much fun making gifts this year for friends and coworkers here in Australia. We didn't want to buy too much, we thought leaving our mark with homemade Canadian gifts would be a bit more meaningful. I love that Adam agreed yet didn't do too much in the crafting department:) He was tough on quality control though and I appreciate that!
For Adam's coworkers in his department we made up some Candy Cane bark (Cole and I) and wrapped them in cello then put them in a mug with a crochet cozy on it.
For Nathan's classmates we made them a Canadian key chain. These were fun to put together. We made some up as necklaces as well for some special friends:) Andrew next door helped by drilling holes in the washers and pennies for us. Nathan and I stamped the washers with our metal punches with each of his classmate's names and we used the pennies that Claire brought over for us and assembled them. Cute, eh? I'm really happy with how these turned out.
We created some other gifts like some crochet scaves and ornaments but I forgot to take pictures. We had fun and hope that these creations will leave remind our wonderful friends of their Canadian friends in the years to come:)
Very thoughtful and creative gifts!
