 Happy Saturday to you!  It's been a fun day so far.  I apologize for the late post.  We've had a busy weekend and we're not done yet:)  Today was Emma's cheer competition and I'm so proud!  The girls did a great job!  (I posted the video should anyone want to see it...totally not stamping related:)

Today's project was made for Emma, Monica and Angela.  When we got home from the cheer competition, they wanted to craft.  So, this is what we came up with.  It's very similar to the punched bunny I made last year, but this time I made it with the Big Shot.  So, it's my Big Shot bunny:)

Here is the recipe for this creation:

• Whisper White - Large Scallop Big Shot, Large Clear Circle Big Shot, Ovals #2 Big Shot, 1 3/4 inch hand punch (2)
• Sponge and Pretty in Pink Ink
• Dimensionals
• Basic Black - 3/4 inch circle (2)
• Pretty in Pink - Heart Punch
• Basic Gray Marker
• White Gel Pen
• Sweet Pea DSP - Ovals #2 Big Shot

Polar Bear with Punches

Happy Friday to you!  I love Fridays!  End of the week, PJs will be on quickly tonight and some snuggle time with the kids by the fire!  Doesn't that sound like fun....for me anyhow:) 

Today's card was not created by me.  It's a case of a card by Lynn Pratt that I saw on her blog and just loved!  Lynn got the idea from Laura.  I couldn't resist how sweet the little bears looked!  I have modified it a bit, but basically it's a case:)

Here is the recipe for this card:

• Christmas Greeting Stamp Set and Bordering Blue INk
• Christmas Punch stamp set and Bordering Blue Ink and Whisper White Ink
• White Confetti Paper - 5 1/2 x 2 (for the top layer of snow), 2 x 2 1/2 (for the bottom layer of snow), 2 Wide Ovals (mom head and body), 2 Large Ovals (baby body and mom's nose), 1 Small Oval (baby's nose), 1 1/4 inch circle (baby's head), 4 half inch circles (ears)
• Basic Black - 1/8 inch circles for the nose and eyes
• All of the bear pieces are sponged in Sahara Sand and then I used my nail (or distressing tool) and went around the edges of each piece to roughen it up and look like fur)

Witch Box....LOVE IT!

I can't take credit for this box.  BUT you know me and my punches, I love them!  My downline Janey sent me a link Gretchen Barron's blog  (CLICK HERE)and she had the cutest little Halloween boxes.  Now hers were made using the Top Notes die, but this month in my club I am featuring the Fancy Box die for the Big Shot.  So I switched it up just a little bit and ended up with this!  I love it!  I thought she was just too cute!

The hat was made with my Fiskars cutter, except for the rounded edges of the hat that I used the corner rounder on.  The eyes are the 1 inch punch (eyelids too), the eyeballs are the 1/2 inch punch (wart too), the nose and mouth were made using the large oval punch.  Can't wait to fill this little box with treats! 

Here are the supplies:

• Basic Black Cardstock 102851
• Gable Green Cardstock 102795
• Green Galore Cardstock 101768
• More Mustard Cardstock 100946
• Lovely Lilac Cardstock 100427
• Sponges 101610
• Green Galore Ink 102122
• More Mustard Ink 103162
• Lovely Lilac Ink 102874
• Large Oval Punch 107305
• 1 inch Circle Punch 109046
• 1/2 inch Circle Punch 104390
• White Gel Pen 105021

Here are the basic steps:

1. Sponge each piece of cardstock with the corresponding ink colour.  I used Green Galore on the Gable Green
2. The hat was a 3 x 3 square that I cut into the triangle (measure 1 1/2 inches on one edge and cut to each opposite corner)
3. The rim is 3 1/2 x 1 1/4 and then I rounded the corners
4. The Lovely Lilac ribbon is 3/4 of an inch thick.  Attach this to the triangle portion of the hat first, then trim before attaching to the rim
5. Put adhesive on the back of the rim and attach the hair.  Trim after the hat is attached to the box and curl by wrapping it around your gel pen (or any other round object)
6. Attach the eyeballs to the eyes
7. Attach the eyelids
8. Attach the eyes to the box
9. Attach the nose, wart and mouth to the box
10. Assemble the box

Gotta Brag for a Moment....

The other night during my Mystery Class, Emma (my nine year old) really wanted to make a card.  So for the first time ever (yes, I'm a control freak) I gave her complete freedom of my craft room.  I was amazed at what she came up with!  She loves making punched creations and has always been asking me to make a sea horse (and I kept thinking....really????  A sea horse????)  Well, needless to say I never did it.  And I'm so glad that I didn't!

Look at what Emma made!!!  She designed this completely on her own and made the card (cutting and everything) in about a half hour! 

She used the Rich Razzleberry cardstock with the Bermuda Bay!  Doesn't it look great together!

Anyhow, I just had to show you what a great job Emma did on her little creation and if you're looking for a punched sea horse....problem solved!  Have a great day!

Regionals

This is a long post, so grab a coffee and enjoy!  First off, this weekend has been AMAZING!!!!  It was Regionals for Stampin' Up!  We were so fortunate to have Dale (from Head Office in Calgary), Linda, Lori and Shannon from Utah and so many other Stampin' Up! members come here to London! 

To start the weekend I hosted a demonstrator night which was so much fun!  60 ladies got together, we ate, crafted, chatted and just had fun!  It was a great way to get to meet so many of you!  I wish I had   more time to chat with you but I loved learning so much from so many of you, so thank you!  I hope you choose to keep in touch.  I was also spoiled rotten by so many fine demonstrators that shared their talent and projects with me over the course of the weekend....yes, I'll be sharing those projects!  I will also be sharing the make and take projects we did on Friday night with you this week.

Now, today was the BIG event!  My FABULOUS team members, Simply Stars(see the first photo....isn't that a GREAT looking bunch of ladies?!?!), gathered bright and early (apparently too early for me as I slept in and Shannon had to call to wake me up.....) so we could all come in together!  For the most part the 30 of us sat together and enjoyed such a fun day!  We had make and take projects that are amazing (but I'll be honest, I didn't make one....yet!), great wow demonstrations from local demos, a yummy lunch, business tips and of course amazing projects from SU!  Thank you ladies for making this so amazing!  Let me explain the second photo to you....that's my wonderful friend Barb!  She is amazingly talented at stamping but is an even better friend.  As much as I love her, we're not holding hands or fighting over the coffee....I'm really not sure what's going on here!

I was quite honoured when Lori called me last week asking if I would do a wow presentation.  After chatting with her for a few minutes I knew right away what I could demonstrate....punched animals!  So, this is what I showed today.

I have to say that the little bums made me quite happy!  I also demonstrated quickly how to make your own envelopes to size and a little barn box (that I didn't take a picture of!!!)  I'll just have to make another one!

Some of you were asking about my punch class.  The current class I have going on, Simply Punches One, is $20 for 20 videos, 20 PDFs, 20 photos and lots of fun!  If you're interested in signing up, the online classroom will be open until the end of June.  You are able to print off the typed instructions and photos to use forever!

Simply Punches online Class!

I am so excited to share with you my new online class!  This has been an exciting new addition to my business, my customers are excited,  and we are having a ton of fun!  PUNCHES!!!!!  I love them and always have.  I have been sharing with you lots of different punched creations over the past few months on my cards and in my videos.  So, I've decided to start an online punch class!  It's as simple as this:

Simply Punches

20 Days (March 1 to March20)

1 punched creation per day

20 videos

20 PDFs (a typed version that you can print on making each punched creation)

20 photos

for only $20!!!!

This will be an online class.  You will receive an email on March 1st inviting you to Simply Punches.  You will register, I will approve you and then you are joining in on all the fun with punches!  Each punched creation will also be "on" something....possibly a 3D item, a card, a scrapbook page.....  Dimensions, supply lists are all included.  If you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator you are welcome to use these for your classes or to create an upcoming club for your customers (they will LOVE you and the projects....just think your next 10 months of club are planned for only $20!!!!)  If you are a customer in my punched club, these will all be different creations than what we are making in class.

*You guys had some great questions:  The classroom will be open for three months so you will be able to access all videos and PDFs for three months, print them off and get what you need.  So you do not have to go to the "classroom" each day.  Anyone, anywhere can join this class as it is only a service and not product.  A template will be provided at the beginning of class on punches so if you don't have them all there will be support for you.*
