It's that time again....the Artisan Blog Hop! Our March box of goodies was a fun one, with quite the variety! If you're visiting me from Erica's blog, thank you! Her work is amazing, so if you're starting the hop here, make sure you do the loop and check her out! Erica is a wonderful artist and even more amazing woman!
I had fun with Oh, Henry this week! He (or in this case she) was fun to play with and paper piece together. I used my FAVOURITE colour, Summer Starfruit with the Raspberry Ripple. To create the shirt, I stamped the elephant image on the DSP, then cut out the shirt shape. I then traced around the edges with the Black marker to match the outline around the outside of dear old Henry. I also created an "undershirt" in the Summer Starfruit by just attaching on a piece of cardstock and then cutting it out and tracing around the edges on this one too:) Fun, eh?
I cut Henrietta out after stamping her on Very Vanilla card stock. When I cut her out, I continued cutting around the ear so I could pop up the ear on the card front (using none other than a dimensional).
Then banner from her trunk is created using the sweet ticket punch. I used the "splatter" from my paper pumpkin kit this month (LOVE this stamp!) I added a little bit of stitching on the card just to step it up a bit, and voila! I hope you like her:)
I hope you like my creation for today! I had a ton of fun putting it together for you! Enjoy the blog hop and stop on over to the ever talented Heidi's blog next!!!Take care,
Heather
