AMAZING!!! That's the word for all of YOU!!! I still can't believe the support we are receiving for the My Digital Studio Challenge blog! Kimberly and I are feeling so rejuvinated by YOUR enthusiasm and excitment! Nothing makes me want to share more than your support and kind words, so thank you!!!
This BONUS My Digital Studio Challenge Post shares with you some fun ways to use overlays on a page. The video shows you how you can use overlays in side punches to offer a little POW on a page!
This page uses the following ingredients:
- Stitching - Family Fun
- Stamps - French Foliage, Vintage Overlays
- Flag - A Split Second
- Punches - Lots of Tags, Circle Punch
Here are a few tips I used for this page:
- I colour matched the background to the colour inside the punch then changed the opacity to 60%.
- I colour matched the banner and the circl to the leaf
- use the stamps and colour match them to the photo and alter the opacity

Today's page was a hard one to put together for me, but I am truly thrilled with the final page! It's simple, clean and to the point. I love that I can create pages like this with MDS and plunk them in my books as friendly reminders of what my family means to me! Hope you like today's page and don't forget to check out Kimberly's blog to check out her amazing sample(she is an overlay queen!)!
Hugs,
Heather

Heather, this is so sweet. i noticed that the day you lost your dad was 1/19/04. I lost mine 1/23/04. He has been on my mind a lot lately, it doesn't get a whole lot better with time. your tribute is such a good way to honor your dad, i think i may have to try a similar page for my dad. God bless you and have a Merry Christmas.
