I know I said I was done sharing the Smooches with you for a while, but I thought you might like to see the little case I made for the cards:) Am I right to say it was worth stopping by for this? AND I'll share the dimensions:)
- front and back panel - 5 x 7 1/2 scored at 1 1/2 inches - make two of these. One is for the front of the package, the other is for the back. When you attach the two together, the 1 1/2 inch flap is the bottom of the package and will be two layers thick
- pockets - 8 x 4 1/2 - make two of these. Score them each at 3/4 and 1 1/2 inches from three of the sides (NOT one of the long sides). These become your box edges and the tab you will use to attach to the front and back of the box. To create the box, cut along the 1 1/2 inch score line from the base until you hit the 1 1/2 inch perpendicular score line. Do the same on the 3/4 inch score line. This will allow you to fold the box and creates the tab to secure your box shut:)
- real red - 4 3/4 x 5 3/4
- dsp - 4 1/2 x 5 1/2
Hopefully these quick dimesnions and instructions help. It's a fun way to share a group of cards with someone! Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by today!
Take care,
Heather
Heather, I love this and made some of these boxes for a swap I am in on the VC Rocks yahoo group. I had copied and pasted your pictures and directions for my own personal use. Would it be ok if I printed copies of it for the other swap participants? If you want I can email it to you. Thanks for sharing so much great SU! stuff on your site. Elizabeth K [email protected]

heather, there is one incorrect measurement on this project. the two side panels are 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 instead of 5 x 7 1/2. this goes together smoothly otherwise!
btw, i'm planning to use this at a workshop where there will be a fee. how can i compensate you for this template?
