This set is ADORABLE! I was trying to make a "man" card with this one so I didn't want to "bling" it up too much! I have my friend, Carrie Gaskin to thank for this layout! She had a super cute card on her blog that I loved and I've switched it up but thank you Carrie for my starting point!
This card uses Basic Grey, Basic Black and Daffodil Delight. The typewriter is stamped in the Grey. I then stamped it again on a different piece of Whisper White and cut out the paper. Then I stamped the greeting on the paper and when I attached it to the card front, the bottom of the page is attached directly on the card front and the top of the page has two dimensionals high so it looks like "real" paper:) Fun, eh?
I used the Colour Spritzer tool on the front of the card. This is a tool I really should use more often than I do. Do you forget about your tools sometimes? I should take pictures of my tools (like my crimper or the spritzer) and hang them by my workspace just to remind me to use them:) Fun idea....but the reality is probably something I'll never do!
The tone on tone is the "Carrie" touch. I loved how she used the Tasteful Trim Big Shot die on the card front using the same colour...she's so smart! Well, I hope you've liked my card today! Busy day around here....hanging out with the kids (and of course Adam too:)
Have a wonderful day!
Take care,
Heather

I love the how "quiet" this card is, and yet it stands out too! Great. Tone on tone and spritzing really finish the look.

I love this! Definitely need to get this set. I forget about my tools too. What I did is to list all my tools on a sheet of paper and then cut them into strips. Now when I want to use something I haven't used in awhile, I draw a strip out of the jar and use whatever tool is listed on there. It's always fun to see what I'll come up with!

This set totally caught my eye in the mini...probably because I'm a secretary :) I love that the piece of paper is separate and dimensioned on your card...a nice touch!
