I think that Nathan is JUST LIKE ME....well, not really in all ways but he LOVES Halloween! He has been talking about what he wants to be for Halloween for weeks now and it's changed about a million times....pirate, Star Wars, pylon (yes, those orange things on the road!), tree, remote control....and who knows what next! One thing I learned through Emma and Mark is that you have to start early with little ones. Nathan wants to make some Halloween cards for people and he needs to practice his cutting so this is a craft we came up with.
Simple, I know, but cute! We created a standard card (4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2). Then I drew on a "ghost" shape and Nathan practiced his cutting by cutting out the shape. I left it so the top is still on the crease so this card will open.
After he was done cutting, we glued on the fun big googlie eyes and he wrote on the word "boo". How fun and cute!!!!
We've made 6 so far and who knows how many more he'll want to do! I love crafting with my kids and sometimes it's fun to have something at "their" level rather than mine:)
Hope you like this....I did a quick video for you as well! Have a great day!
Take care,
Heather
OMGOODNESS.... Nathan.... This is soooo CUTE! What a great Halloween card to share with someone! I think I'm gonna have to have my 8 yr. old make some of these! Thanks for sharing! :o)
