Well, I must admit, I was hoping to put my fellow blog hoppers through the ringer with this week's challenge (it was my turn to pick the challenge and in typical Heather style I wanted to do something like 2 photos, no blue, birthday theme and you can't use the letter "e" on your page.....) but I thought I'd get kicked out of the club! Actually we were away last weekend for a super fun family holiday to Pittsburgh! WOW, what an amazing city! If you're from there, I do apologize, that I had something completely different in my head as to what the area would look like. It was STUNNING....hills and trees EVERYWHERE...I mean EVERYWHERE! I'm not too sure how you get around Pittsburgh in the winter as the streets were CRAZY hilly and some sidewalks were stairs because it was such a steep incline....anyhow, more of that for a later date! In the meantime...this week's challenge: birthday! Pretty simple, right? Well, here's my take on it!
The two main elements on this page are:
- Tickets and Tags (a new download this week that is SO SUPER FUN!) and
- Patterned Party (another new download this week.....the birthday stamped images on this page)
All of the embellishments, DSP and strips are from the Tickets and Tags download. I just love it! Emma is working on making all her binder covers, binder dividers, labels and school supplies with this digital kit for school. (I bought her the lunch bag from Convention so she wants to match everything to that...I love my girl!)
There really isn't anything too fancy with this page, but I do demonstrate a few little tricks on this week's MDS video if you're interested!
I appreciate your stopping by and I hope you enjoy the "hop".
Take care,
Heather
You know Heather, I think you talk me in to more downloads!!!! Very nice page - love it....

LOL! I'm from Pittsburgh! Loved to read your thoughts on our awesome city! Did you visit the Batman movie set? They are filming on one of the campuses! Glad you enjoyed your visit... I'm always wishing that SU! would hold a regional here - but my prayers have not been answered yet :(
Thanks for all of the inspiration over the past weeks too! LOVE Everything!!

Great page - you always tell a story with your scrapbooking. I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit to Pittsburgh. I fell in love with it 42 years ago when I went there with my not yet husband who is from there. My older son now lives there along with other family members. Would love to move there one day. Love it.
