One of the highlights of winning the Artisan award was the Artisan dinner. Not only was the company amazing, and the food delicious, but we did an Artisan swap! This was SO much fun! We swapped with the 10 Artisans plus the two concept artists. Now I will share their posts in the coming weeks, but for now I thought I'd do the "day after" post be my swap (because that's the only one I have a picture of so far....)
I decided to do an MDS project to share, thinking it would be a little different than what the others were swapping. This is one of our clear cases (that stamps come in) and I designed a cover for it, printed it from a local print shop. I personalized each of them on the front of the case.
Then inside the case I made a little tag or bookmark using the swatchbook. I used the same DSP as the cover (don't you love it!) and then made it hybrid. I used the halfback pearls on the top and the bottom of the frame (under their monogram).
In the top left corner I threaded ribbon through the hole, and secured it with a vintage brad. From the ribbon I dangled a pearl charm and a crown (some received different crowns or keys or a black bauble).
The colours on the tag are Cherry Cobbler, Elegant Eggplant and River Rock.
On the back of the tag I typed out the statement of the heart. It wasn't too labour intensive, but I am happy with the end result! HOpe you are too!
Thank you so much to each of you that enjoyed the hop and stopped by. I'll have a video for you tomorrow and another project to share!
Take care,
Heather
