Guess what....before we do the blog hop today...it is TUESDAY!!! You know what that means!!! My Digital Studio download day! I LOVE Tuesdays!!! CLICK HERE to see the newest downloads...you won't be disappointed!!!
Okey Dokey....onto my second last card. I think this is almost tied as being my favourite card. I'm not sure why I love it so much, but I think the colouring and the colours just make me happy!
I used the Build A Bear stamp set and elements to create this card. The "noses" on the bears are stamped and cut out, then popped up to add dimension. The bag is also stamped and cut out. The tissue paper in the bag is actually the fabric from one of the super cute fabric brads we had in the spring mini catalogue last year.
I love the sewing on this card and I think it really adds to the card (including the zig zag on the greeting). It sounds so funny, but sewing the circle (did this by hand cranking the sewing machine as I can barely sew a straight line) and cutting the grass were the toughest parts. It's funny when creating cards such as this, where you spend your time and efforts:)
I hope you like today's card!!! Have fun checking out Connie's post today and I'll see you again tomorrow for my first 3D project:) Take care,
Heather

LOOOOOVE IT! (Squee!!!!) It is SO cute! I think I can actually hear myself cooing to it! Your details are fab, and your papers, coloring, and LO are perfect. Just to let you know, my birthday is coming up! :)

I agree with Connie on this one. I love the dimension on the page and how the gift bag, flower and balloon are popping off the card.

It's so difficult to see all the little details on those display boards at convention. Fabulous work. I can see why this card is one of your favourites.

I love this card, too! Not only the bright, cheery colors, but just everything about it makes me smile. I really love how the elements such as the gift bag and the balloon jump off the page!
