Happy Thursday to you! Well our day was off to a "funny" start...I could say rough, but truly I have a wonderful life so I can't complain. I tend to get "weather" headaches (Adam makes fun of me and says I should change up my day job to make weather predictions:) so this morning there was a headache just waiting for me....no big deal, take some medicine, have a shower and get on with the day! Then Emma and Mark were all ready for school (easily this morning....) and either they missed the bus, it was delayed or didn't show up. Not sure, doesn't matter but off we went to take them to school this morning. Then we head off to the bank and my bank card doesn't get returned from the bank machine!?!? So, what do you do when the bank isn't open, there's a line up of cars behind you in the drive thru bank machine.....well, I made sure the transaction was complete, let the cars know behind me, tried the bank's front door (that was locked and no one in site) and have returned home:) I called the bank and all is well...just another "funny" thing to add to our morning. So now that the boys and I are home I'm looking forward to Lego and some snuggles!!!! Hope you're morning is off to a great start!
Now, the real reason you come visit...some creative inspiration. A friend of mine (thanks Sue) emailed me a photo of a really cute scrapbook and asked if I could recreate something similar in MDS. Now, this isn't exact and I'm sorry I don't know a link or the name of the original inspiration, but here's my take on it. This came together surprisingly fast and any of you MDS users out there with the original program you can make most of this page! The clouds and DSP are from the Sunny Days kit. There of course are a few add ons, but the majority of this page anyone can do!!! YAY for that! This is Nathan this week....he is turning into quite the little man, very expressive, sweet and full of life! We are really enjoying him in this stage!
This second page is Nathan at 1! When I was working on this page last night I was really excited to find these photos of Nathan (from 2008) Adam couldn't believe I let him have such "dorky" hair (those are his words) but I think it looks adorable! This page was created using the Lucky Star embellishment downloads, some Bakers' Twine and a few punches. The original inspiration for this page came from the upcoming Idea Book and Catalogue for Stampin' Up! I have altered it a ton (really nothing looks similar except for the tasteful trim borders:)
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a great day, and I'm sure ours will continue to be "fun".
Take care,
Heather
Geez.... Sorry about how your morning started! But I guess that's life.... I think we all get days like that.... So glad you made some MDS pages... The boys are soooo cute in these LO's and there is nothing wrong with Nathan's hair! He looks ADORABLE in those pictures! TFS! :o)

Awesome pages Heather. Almost makes me wish my guys were little again so I could take photos differently. Oh if only I knew then what I do now.

I LOVE these pages!! The first one is so happy and bright. Love the title too! Perfect with the pics! I have an Bank Card story... I went thru drive thru for a coffee one day on my way to work (snowy Maine winter morning) and the cashier handed me my card back but dropped it, and I couldn't get out to reach it because it went under my car. So I pulled ahead and the next car's tires were on it.... it was slushy and slippery, I had fancy shoes on and a skirt. Oh boy.. to be a spectator that day must have been comical! So I totally get your "funny" day! They're funny that its over but in the moment it can be frustrating!
