Happy Monday and Happy March 1st! Where did February go??? Maybe we're in luck and Spring is just around the corner:)
This is one of the cards that I did last week at Barb's workshop. (thanks again ladies, I had so much fun!) I love the slider door and as much as it adds a few steps to the card, I think it's worth it.
Here is the recipe for this card:
- Real Red - 11 x 4 1/4 scored at 5 1/2, Modern Label, Tab Punch
- Brilliant Blue -
- Summer Sun - 3 x 4, 4 1/4 x 1 (inside), 2 3/4 x 2(slider)
- Whisper White - 2 3/4 x 4, 5 1/4 x 4 (inside card), Word Window
- Sweet Treat Cups
- 1 3/4 inch circle punch
- Real Red Epoxy Brads
- Real Red Ink
- Polka Dot Embossing Folder
I hope you like it and enjoy your day! I'll be back tomorrow with the March Sale-a-bration online class:)
Here is the video for this card:
Take care,
Heather
You really make it look easy and it probably is. I just have to start making a card with the treat cups. Love the sound in the background.

I also wanted to echo the above sentiments regarding your children. You never have to apologize for them being in the background, and honestly, those little baby gurgles and innocent little whispered "Mom"'s are my favorite part of the video! :) So precious. And that trap door is the greatest way I have seen to use those treat cups. Thank you!

love to hear the little coos in the background and Nathan little whispers!! so cute and no bother at all; just sweet. They are very well behaved to sit so well while you do a video. Love the card- I plan on making one for my nephew! Thanks for sharing.

Your kids are never any bother and I will gladly watch a video anyday with thier adorable voices in the background.
Another winner here, Heather. I really like that you mentioned this is an everyday card and can be used for several different occasions. I really like cards like that. Love the colors, so basic, and bright. Makes for a happy day. Thanks for sharing. I always love your trap door technique.
Will be suffering from Post Olympic Stress Syndrome all week long. It seems like now there will be nothing to watch on television. I will go into withdrawal for a few days. hee, hee.

Congratulations to Canada on their hockey win. What a game. The Vancouver Olympics were great, just like you. I love your ideas. You are one busy woman. If there were a stamping olympics you've definitely won the gold.
