Happy Tuesday to you! Hope all is going well for you on this Canadian Spring Break! The weather has turned a great corner for us, and have been enjoying lots of sunshine. I'll have more MDS pages to share of the fabulous weather soon:)
I had a lot of fun with the Embellishment Class the other night and am glad to share videos with you using different SU products. This card showcases eyelets. Eyelets are something that I used to shy away from. Remember the days of hammering, the the silent setter? Well, the Crop-o-dile makes an eyelet so quick and simple. Just remember when you are using the SU eyelets, the metal alloy is SUPER soft so you don't need to squeeze very hard when setting them.
Here is the recipe for today's card:
- Bashful Blue - 3 x 6 scored at 3 inches, 2 1/8 x 2 1/8
- Brocade Blue - 2 3/4 x 2 3/4
- Night of Navy - Small Oval, 2 1/4 x 2 1/4
- Eyelets
- Whisper White - Tag Punch, Scrap of Whisper White Ink
- Tiny Tags Stamp and Night of Navy Ink
- Look Who's Turning Stamp
- Linen Thread
- Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Here is the video for today's card:
I also have an MDS page for you. I've been on a mission to get caught back up on my scrapbooking since January. I have to laugh because I'm not sure you can ever be on top of scrapbooking. But Adam came up with a solution, "stop taking pictures". Well, that's no fun:) This is a page about my little sleep walker Mark. It's typical to find him in someone else's bed in the morning, but on this particular night we found him in the hallway. Even Mittens was a little surprised!
I hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care,
Heather

Hi Heather, getting caught up here...love the cute little card with the eyelets. Thanks for the tip. I haven't used any eyelets yet, but when I do, I will be sure to use a gentle touch. Good to know.
What a fantastic MDS Page. I love all of the circles! How funny that Mark sleepwalks. Do you have special locks on the doors so that he doesn't go outside accidently? Aren't you sometimes afraid? I know that I would be. Isn't the picture of Mitten's sniffing Mark's head just too darling. I love it. What a great Page to have and show him when he grows up. You are truly making some fantastic memories.

Thanks, Heather! You give us such useful information. I had not learned about the SU! eyelets being softer and therefore requiring less pressure, so I definitely learned something today. And very timely, I might add - one of my stamping ladies asked me to show here how to work with the crop-o-dile, so now I will know better how to teach her! I'm glad you're putting your MDS pages up, too -- I, too, so enjoy "seeing" your family each day!

Love the sleep walking page!! so cute and reminds me of one of mine! The cards is great, I must be putting too much pressure on the crop-o-dile- they seem to smooch- spand out too much!
