This is a fun and quick brag book that is perfect for a loved one or to make as a thank you for a hostess or a friend. This is not an original idea, not sure where I learned this, but I think I made it about five years ago for the first time. I loved making them then and this month one of my hostesses asked if we could make these at her workshop (thanks Kristy!) What fun!
So, this is what we came up with. The basic dimensions for my book are:
- the back page - 5 x 8 scored at 1 (that's the Soft Suede showing on the left side)
- the front page - 5 x 7 scored at 1 (so it folds open easily on the seam)
- clear envelopes
- I used the Scallop Circle for the Big Shot for the flap and the Clear Circle for the Big Shot for the layer on the scallop
- the decor on the front is a 4 x 3 Night of Navy and 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 Whisper White
Check out the video for the quick assembly of this little gem!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day, the sun is shining bright here today:)
Take care,

Great project Heather! I loved it so much that I made 4 of them last night in just a couple of hours. My niece just had a baby up there in London area so I thought I'd send along some brag books for the new Mom and grandmothers to fill and brag with. Thanks for the inspiration! Sharri Coates

Just a quick question...Do you put the pictures inside before you adhere the envelopes together?

I really like this little photo book, and it looks so simple to put together. I would imagine that as long as you changed the stamped image and greeting, it could be made for just about anybody. What a great little gift to give for no special reason. Now you have twisted my arm into buying those Dies. I was trying to hold off until I actually could afford them. Lol. Oh well, I am dying to make up a couple of these little books. Thanks for sharing another wonderful project with us. Have a wonderful day with your very happy family.
