Well, the big day has finally arrived! I hope you have had lots of fun preparing handmade treasures for those special to you. Like every year, I don't accomplish as much as I would like to, but I am thrilled with what got done and will certainly enjoy the next few days of family fun time!
I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and hope that you have a safe and happy holiday season!
Take care,
Heather (Adam, Emma, Mark, Nathan, Cole AND the UNnamed new kitten....any suggestions feel free to leave a comment for this sweet little female cat's name! I've got blog candy for the name we use!)
Oh Heather, I love Mittens - he looks just like my Gizmo. I do hope you all enjoy him. They can be so much fun. Love your scrapbook page of him and your DH too.

Very nice family you have here and the kitten is so cute.
For her name ,I was thinking about : "reglisse" (pronunce "raygliss").
It means "liquorice" in French .
Her black color remember me the liquorice I love so much.
Enjoy your day.

Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day! I love your newest edition to the family, how about naming her "Inky." Afterall, you can't stamp without Ink!

Merry Christmas Heather and family! Just like your MDS page was in line with the occasions mini-catalogue; as have been most of your posts of late, i suggest that little black kitty go with the "Tote-ally" name of "TESS", and here's why: she's going to be creating a lot of love in the house (heart stamp); in the spring/summer, she'll want to be digging in your flowers (flower stamp); instead of scissors (scissor stamp) she'll be using her tiny and sharp nails; instead of leaving her signature around with pen or pencil, she'll be leaving her cat's hair (note stamp/marker stamp); and i'm sure she will make her way into your stamp room and declare "I LOVE STAMPS" as she sits with you while you stamp (I heart stamp); and lastly, you'll need some bags (bag stamp) as you clean her little box.
So that's why I suggest "TESS" for her name.
Merry Tess-mas!!

Merry Christmas and wishing you all the very best for new year. Love your kitten. Kelyn, means holly in cornish which would be a good name for christmas kitten.

Merry Christmas to you and your family Heather.
I cannot belive how much your new kitten looks like mine. She is all black with some white in the same spot! She is now 9 yrs old and I named her "Chloe" but seen as though she is new to your family on Christmas Day why don't you name her "Christmas" Have fun picking out names, they are all great suggestions.

Hi Heather:
Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family.
Leah suggests the name Lucky. I suggest the name Shadow.
I also love our 13 year old dogs name, Skittles. Every time one of Leah's friends come over they tease Skittles and call her Smarties. I love these names as it is a conversation piece and it usually makes everyone smile when they see our big shepherd then they hear her name, they giggle to themselves.
PS - Leah got a puppy (shepherd/lab cross) for Christmas and we named her Bella.
Have a great New Year!!

Hi again, I just came up with a couple more names that I think would fit. How about "Belle" for Christmas Bells. I look at those precious eyes and right away I see a "Molly". It is winter so how about "Boots", something easy for the little ones to be able to say. How about "Love or Lovey" for all the love that flows freely throughout your family. Or how about "Spirit" for the Spirit of the Season. Since she is predominantly black it would be really cute to call her "Snow or Snowflake". When my DD recently got a new puppy she surprisingly let her 2 1/2 year old son name her. He came up with "Lucky" on the first try. I think "Lucky" would be a nice name because she is lucky to have such a loving family as you to be raised in. It is a little harder to say, but how about "Mischief" for all of the trouble that she is going to be getting into, or how about "Trouble". I give up here, you have more than plenty to pick from and I am sure that your list is never ending also. Whatever you decide, it will suite her just fine, she is such a little cutie pie. Merry Christmas to you all. The festivities have died down here and everyone is in bed, so I took this time to surf the net.

Great photo!!! :)
As for names, I have a couple. I had a friend with a cat named "Nanu" as in Mork from Ork!
I also like DIAMOND... b/c your kitty looks like she is as black as coal, and when you hug her real tight, she turns to a diamond, just like coal :)

Love the photos and matching sweaters! So it's a girl for sure? You're not just taking MY "guess"? OK, since it's really Adam's cat, I was thinking something football'ish...like Favre..or Swan (like Lyn Swan) or Terry (for Bradshaw?) or Pinball (Mike Clements). Picking a name is so hard - it will just come to you! Merry Christmas everyone!

Kitten name- Noel, Piper or Stamper would be my votes.

Thank YOU for all your efforts and work this year to inspire us all! I know you've been a huge creative inspiration to me!
Hmm... My 3 year old son once called a cute little kitten like yours "nuggets" because she was so tiny and the little food they eat! I always thought that was a cute name for a pet!

I wish you a Very Merry Christmas from our house to yours, and in the New Year may you find good health, happiness, Faith, prosperity and Love.
What a darling little kitten, how does "Dar" sound, which means "gift" in Polish. I think it fits her fine. Until next time.
