As I'm sure you can tell I am just loving playing with the MDS (My Digital Studio!!!) It is amazing and I am so pumped that I am on top of my scrapbooking! I'm trying to do a page a day (some take just minutes to make and others a little longer:) I've actually done my pages for the photos I've taken since Halloween, which makes me happy AND I've gone back to do a few older pages.
Some of you have asked what I'm going to do with the pages. I think that I am going to get them printed through Stampin' Up! as individual pages to put in my scrapbook. I still love the paper and hands on of traditional scrapbooking, so I think now my books will be a combination of digital and traditional. What do you guys do? I'd love to have feedback, suggestions or comments on this one.
I would love to be able to help with the world of Digital scrapbooking so if you have questions about MDS, please ask and I'll try and post some tutorials on this program on my blog. Now remember, if you're not a digital scrapbooker, these layouts can be easily duplicated in traditional scrapbooking and also for cards (I'll have a few of these in the week to come!) In the meantime, enjoy your Sunday and I'll see you again tomorrow!
Take care,
Heather
Alexandra loved the photo of Cole and his wrinkles in the bottom photo. Kyle loved the photo of Adam with Cole holding his finger top left...all agreed that he is cute!

Just got a chance to have a closer look at the photos of Cole and he is so beautiful. I am guessing he looks like Adam a lot.
I love the photo of Cole hanging tight to Daddy's finger. Great page Heather.

First congratulations on your newest family memeber. I love your digital pages. When you say you will have them printed through SU does this mean you cannot print your completed pages and they are still in computer land? This is why I am sticking to hands on only. I am not comfortable with my stuff not being in my hands. I do not keep any pictures on the computer either. I feel like my digital stuff is going to disappear someday. I still have all my negatives from over 40 years ago and my MIL's from 70 years. I am just not liking this computer world, lol, even though it is great looking. I guess I am still a crafter at heart.
This is my 2 cents and probably not worth much, lol.

Love your pages, Heather. I like and still do the traditional way, would love to do digital. You can do it hybrid, too (printed digitally, add some of the embellishments later). Since printing those pages will be expensive over here in Aruba, I'll still be doing traditional:-( Or till I get a printer printing that size of paper...

I share the same sentiments about scrapbooking as you Heather...traditional and until I get caught up on my photos I will have to do Digital with MDS. I just need to learn how to use it; I get discourgaed not knowing what I am doing.

Heather...Not only is your new baby boy beautiful...but so are your scrapbook pages... I too like to digital scrapbook...now I'm far from being an expert...but it is sooo easy to do and quick to complete a project! I have always done traditional scrapbooking...but I decided to try digital scrapbooking for the convenience...you just drop a photo into a spot and that's it... I mean there are elements to do to a page or have one that's already set up for you... So my albums now have the traditional scrapbooking pages in them and the new digital scrapbooking pages... I never make themes for my kids books so having a variety of scrapbook pages is a must have for me... you may even save space in your books with less bulky embellishments! LOL :)
