Happy Thursday to you! I'm sorry for posting so late today but I wanted to be able to share with you Mark's version of his class craft online. He reminds me he doesn't craft as often as Emma and that when he does I should really share his creations...how sweet! Anyhow, I got to go into Mark's class today and make a Halloween treat with the kids. It was so much fun! It really makes me miss having my own "classroom" (although I then go home and realize this is where I really need to be:)
Now I could have sworn I saw an idea similar to this online somewhere but when I went back to look for it, I couldn't for the life of me find it. So then I started wondering if I just dreamt it but I really think this idea came from someone and I would love to credit it if you know the rightful creator:)
The box is a triangle box (very simple box to make that requires a half sheet of paper) and then extra embellishments. The craft didn't take too long to make in class (maybe about 40 minutes with 20 kids...so this was perfect!
The kids could pick purple, gray or black for their boxes. Mark picked purple as you can see from his creation. Hope you like it and I'll see you back tomorrow! Take care.
This is really cute! I love it!

Gotta luv those triangle treat boxes. You can do so much with them. You were wondering where a tutorial for them online is and here is a link to one: http://rubberstampingdiva.com/?cat=25
Mark did a great job on his vampire.

Hey Mark, it looks like your bat was just learning to fly and had an accident...ran into a tree or maybe, just maybe this is what the bat look like after I swat it a few times with the broom (hee hee).
Great work Mark!

Tell Mark that he did great!! When you didn't post until later, I thought that there probably was a good reason.. LOL, but it wasn't going to school!! It sounds like you had a great day.
