Well, it's here...one of my favourite holidays of the year! I love Halloween! I love the excitement in the house! I love that the kids can't wait to get in costume and trick or treat! It's just so much fun and great family time!!!
I thought I would share with you some of the Halloween creations we did this year and that my wonderful friends have shared with me! I will have more to post in the next week (I know, post Halloween, BUT it'll give you ideas for next year or other holidays, right?) This first bat is what Emma made for her classmates this year. This was not an original idea, I saw it HERE and just had to case it! Isn't it just too darn cute!?!?! Thanks Julie for the inspiration!!!!
These boxes were sent to us from my mom for the kids! She is just too sweet and thoughtful! The witches were part of my online holiday punch class, but adding the Sweet Treat cup holders is over the top! Love the matching bubbles to the Smartie colours! Emma, Mark and Nathan LOVED getting these....who wouldn't? Nathan kept asking when he could eat the "farties" and that Gramma would let him eat them for breakfast (he's a little cheeky that one!) I also love how the Smarties are a perfect match for the SU cardstock! (To all my US friends, in Canada these little treats are called Smarties and are candy coated chocolates....we call your version of Smarties, Rockets)
I also received some super sweet Halloween cards! As I said, I have more to share (but I have to take pictures first)
This first card is from my friend and downline Dale. Isn't it just so sweet! I love the colours in this one....I wish I had of kept some of that retired SU Halloween paper! Thank you so much Dale! You can check out her blog HERE.
This next card is from my friend and fellow demonstrator Anne. The front image really looks fabulous against the brayered background. Again the colours really pop for this fun time of year. Nathan thinks this card is too "pooky" though! Very cute. Thanks Anne! Check out here blog HERE.
Last but certainly not least, this card is from Jodie, another great friend and downline! I LOVE the simplicity of this card! The monochromatic colour scheme is perfect for Halloween and the little dangling spider just makes me happy:) Check out Jodie's blog HERE.
Well, I hope you have a safe and happy Halloween!!! Hopefully I'll have some MDS to share with you tomorrow from our Halloween night! Take care,
Great Halloween projects and cards. Thanks for posting these wonderful creations. btw, the link for the bat doesn't work.
