What a beautiful weekend we have been having ! The weather is a little too hot for me but I'm sure you sun bathing beauties are so happy! My kids are thrilled to be in the pool and not cold!
I thought I'd share another Halloween card creation with you! I am loving the colour combination of Perfect Plum, Basic Black and Old Olive. This card uses the From the Crypt stamp set. My favourite part of the card though are the super spooky and almost realistic looking spiders on the card. I used the 5/16 inch brads for the body of the spider. I used a Sharpie marker and coloured the vanilla brads with the marker...you can't even tell the difference and the colour doesn't run off. If you'd rather you could dip them in versamark and then use black embossing powder but I was far too lazy for that one:) The heads use the black brads from the Vintage brad package. Aren't they fun!?!?!
The main stamped image I stamped on the Perfect Plum and the Old Olive, then I punched out a 1 3/8 circle from the Old Olive. This is then popped up on the front of the card!
Hope you like the card! I'll be back tomorrow with a video of a fun festive punched creation! AND there will be a prize for my new punch class tomorrow as well! See you then!
The spiders are amazing!! My jaw dropped when I saw them in my google reader feed. love this idea!!

This is the best Hallowe'en card!! And I love the spiders -- they're so realistic -- maybe too realistic. There are a lot of extras on this card -- the paper piercing and scalloped edge. Great job!

My gosh Heather, I love Halloween and using the brads for the spiders is a very unique idea. I can see the boys in my daughters class living it already.

Very very cute Heather, I love how you used the brads for the spider body. That is way cool! Yeah I have to agree, the colors are good together.
