This stamp set was in a mini catalogue last year and I didn't buy it. I really liked it and didn't get it. Then it made this catalogue and for some reason it's taken me far too long to purchase it! It is a very beautiful stamp set that is very fun to watercolour.
This card is More Mustard, Perfect Plum and Pale Plum. I also added some Mellow Moss in the watercolouring of the background and the leaves.
This is a fun layout that is floating around the internet. It's VERY easy to do. Cut your paper to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, then score it at 2 1/8 and 4 1/4. Fold along the first score line in one direction and the second score line in the opposite direction. Then you can decorate the front as you see fit and hide your message under the front image....lots of fun!
The button on the card is from the Button Latte collection (if you haven't noticed I'm all about the buttons right now!) The greeting is from the BEST rub ons EVER, Chit Chat! The scallop around the stamped image was just made by gluing 1/2 inch circles on around the More Mustard circle.
Hope you like today's card...it's for my Grandma for next weekend....hard to believe Mother's day is getting so close! (Can you believe it's May??)
Have a great day!
I love your work Heather, very inspiring. I have my the blinkie posted on my blog too.

Beautiful card -- I love the colour combination!!! And I like the way you "grounded" the vase on the table. Excellent watercolouring and shading. Grandma will love it! B.J.
