I think this is terribly clever and I would make dozens of them, if they weren't too complicated to get together!

You were the Runner UpCraft of the Week at Card of the Week.com. You can see the original post here: http://www.cardoftheweek.com/2008/09/card-of-the-w-1.html.

I did use a picture from your post, with links back to the site and the original post. I hope that is OK. Please feel free to email me if you need me to change anything.

I also have an “I was featured” on badge for you if you want it :D

This is a cute idea and would make lovely decor lamps throughout the house. The cost would not be that much and you can easily redo them to change colors.

Sue

this is different, but great affect! TFS

Donna Meeks

I love it! Just beautiful!

breianna

I absolutely love it! Michaels has nightlights with lamp shades and that would look awesome on those too. Hmmmmm who can I make that for?

Belinda Loewen

I love it. I saw something not as cool though in a stamping magazine. I think the bella rose would be awsome!

lisa

What adhesive did you use to a) stick the 2 " bits of paper to each other and b) adhere this to the lampshade?
I think a smaller pattern,maybe?
but re: dust collecting, could you give it a couple of coats with polyurethane or hairspray, therefore making it easier to dust or wipe, and my other safety concern would be, is the heat severe enought to make the paper burn? hmmmm mummy(the mommy kind, not the egyptian kind)-brain!

B.J.

I like it but I think a smaller pattern that's all the same would show off the scallops more. It looks like a lot of work to put it together, but it's very unique. B.J.

Hmmm...I'm not sure, still thinking about it. I am sure it is prettier in real. I just think about the dust collecting between the scallops in time (that would drive me crazy) unless I gave it away and then it wasn't my problem.
Maybe the Bella Rose DP or one pattern would be the answer.

Sheila

It's AWESOME! Not your usual, but still great!
