've had a number of people asking me how I make my own dew drops so I thought I'd do a quick tutorial on that for you today. Click on the photos to enlarge if you like.
Step #1. Drop your blobs of Crystal Effects on a sheet of waxed paper. Don't try using your acrylic grid (I've ruined mine!!)
The drops on the left side are two drops, the ones on the right are one. I tried to get them the same size so they look uniform on your card.
Step #2. Using a toothpick, stick it in your reinker bottle to pick up come colour. Another option is to squeeze a drop onto the waxed paper and pick up your colour from there.
Step #3. With the colour on the end of your toothpick, dab it into your Crystal Effects Blob. The colour will spread naturally. You can get some really neat effects by using more than one colour in a blog.
When the Crystal Effect is dry adhere to your card.
You can also make these dew drops directly on your card. I am just a bit cautious in case it spreads too far or doesn't cooperate. After I've made a few of these on waxed paper I am more confident to do it right on my card front! Good luck with this adventure....let me know how it goes!
Your tutorial is really a great idea. But instead of ironing the label to twill tape I just cut them apart and iron them to my sewing project, saves time and sewing and it still looks the same.
Thanks!

I've done this also!! Great because we sell all of this. I do mine with the left over reinker in a bottle and fill the bottle 3/4 full with Crystal Effects. There is just enough ink left in the bottle to color the CE just perfectly :)
