Did that title catch your interest? Well, kissing in the stamping world is getting a mirror image or the reverse of a stamped image. For example, in the Here Kitty Kitty stamp set I wanted the same cat jumping in opposite directions....well guess what!??! I figured it out and can you tell, I'm SO excited!!! I've done it before using other techniques but never had great luck with it BUT this happened totally by accident the other day in my craft room and I'm thrilled! I'm sure I didn't invent this but I was using reinkers on waxed paper and I accidentally stamped an image on the waxed paper then put my hand in it to see a perfect image (on my hand though!) So, I tried it and it worked on paper....here's how!
Step #1. Stamp your image in a Basic ink (Black, Gray, Brown). Regular ink does work but because I want to watercolour after I need to use Stazon or a Basic ink. Stamp the image on waxed paper.
Step #2. Flip your image over onto your good cardstock in the exact location you want the image to appear. Then roll your brayer (if you don't have one you can use your hands, just be careful not to move the paper) over the image to transfer it to your good cardstock.
Step #3. Now you can see that the image is reversed from how you originally stamped your image....isn't that fun???? NOW I'm ready to teach this technique to my customers!
Card Recipe:
Colours: Mellow Moss, Old Olive, Blue Bayou, Not Quite Navy
Stamps: Here Kitty Kitty (IT'S RETIRING!!!!!!)
Other: Oval Punches, Old Olive Twill, sponging, Vintage Brads, wire, dimensionals, watercolour wonder crayons and aqua painter
Hope you like it! Have a great day!

Thanks so much for sharing you idea. I want to try it with some of my flower stamps that have curved stems so I will get the effect of them going in different directions.
