Thank you Marg and friends! I had the BEST time last night at her workshop....what a great way to share our love of paper crafting! I was thrilled with the cards we made (hope you were too!) FUN, FUN, FUN!
Do you recognize this card? Check out the spring catalogue and see if you can pick out the card:) I LOVED the butterfly card that is using this layout so I thought I'd switch it up and use the Hearts a Flutter stamp set.....what do you think?
I used the paper doilies, folded them in half and then stitched it onto a cardstock layer. The hearts are stamped in Pool Party on the Pool Party textured cardstock.
I love how simple and clean this card is (and how quickly they come together). I can't wait to try other stamps with this sweet layout!)
I hope you like today's card creation! Enjoy your Tuesday....lots to do around here:)
Hugs,
Heather

Happy Monday to you! What a fun weekend we had! Emma, Nathan and I went to Kalahari in Sandusky Ohio for a cheer competition. It was so wonderful spending time with Emma and watching her engage with her peers and Nathan was just a ton of fun! And of course I had fun with Sandra and Sandi...it was a weekend of fun with everyone!
So, onto today's fun challenge....working with punches in MDS! My creation I know is SIMPLE - a Mickey head...but what I thought was important to share was how to create a group and saved item plus how to create a fun highlight and shadow by making your own punch (so that's what my video shows).
My creation today is a journal for an upcoming family holiday! I can't wait! I am going to have my kids write their thoughts and memories of our trip to Disney! Can't wait!!!
Hope you like it! Don't forget to stop on over toKimberly's blog to check out her awesome video and sweet sample as well as our Facebook Group ....where there are lots of samples and even more fun. Have yourself a great day!
Today's blog post title explains how I'm feeling today! Maybe proud is a better word, but Bloomin' Marvelous works too! Emma did an AWESOME job at the cheer competition yesterday and I can't wait to see them do their run again today!!! Whoo hooo!!! Go Heat!
Again, today's post is a quick one for you as I'm doing this in our hotel room....nothing like being prepared:) Hope you're weekend is as much fun as ours:)
Here is the rough supply list for you for this gem:
Crumb Cake Cardstock - 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4, 5 1/4 x 4, 2 1/2 inch circle punch, 1 3/4 inch circle punch
I love the look of dragging your paper through the White Craft ink...it gives it a soft and beautiful flare! Well, off to prep for the cheer routines (really all I need is a coffee as Emma does her own hair and make up...thank goodness!)
Having fun here in Ohio! So excited to see Emma perform today! She is actually on two teams, and I'm super excited as they are both performing for the first "real" competition this year and she is pumped! I'll keep you posted on how it goes!!!
So, are you getting sick of this colour combination with this stamp set?!?! I'm not:) I had a ton of fun making this card for the Leadership boards...I just love this set and the Staz On Black ink just makes it pop!
I forgot to bring my catalogues with me on this weekend's trip so I do apologize I don't have the supply list codes for you for these products but I'll give you a rough list for this creation:

Happy Wednesday morning! Guess what!?!?! EVERY Wednesday from now until our Artisan commitment is done, we will be doing a blog hop showcasing our creations every week.....how fun! Are you as excited as I am?!?!? Well, you may already know about the hop as you may be coming from Erica's blog: wasn't her creation beautiful???? I LOVE Erica's work and often find myself drooling!
Well, here goes.....to start with we are sharing our January Facebook projects. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this page of my sweet little monkey Cole. To create this page I used the More Amore Designer kit and switched out the colours on the page. They are originally blues and pinks, but I used photo boxes and was able to switch the colours.....fun, eh?
Are you excited! You know Tuesdays are my favourite days of the week....who doesn't love download day?!?! Can't wait to see what Stampin' Up! has in store for us today!
This card was fun to put together, a little (almost) manly. You could substitute the flower out for an ice cream cone or balloon and it'd be a manlier (is that a word?) card!
Here is the supply list for this gem:
Basic Gray Cardstock - 121044
Whsiper White Cadstock - 100730
Basic Gray Ink - 126981
Cherry Cobbler Ink - 126966
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock - 119685

Patterned Occassions 129624
3/4 inch Circle Punch - 119873
Dimensionals - 104430
Hung Up Cute Clips - 129389
I popped up the grey layer on the front of the card. The circles were just put on with glue dots (to make my life easier:) Again, this card came together quickly and was fun to make!
I hope you like today's card (especially the ADORABLE clip!!!!) Thank you for taking the time to stop by! Hugs,
Heather

Happy Monday morning to you! I hope you had a fantastic weekend.....it was a busy one without Adam and a fun Superbowl game last night! I will say that San Fran sure made the game a little more exciting after the power outage.
Well, I first have to apologize to Kimberly....she set out a great challenge today to use ONE kit. I truly started out with this intention....promise!!!! BUT I got a little carried away and am SO thrilled with my final result that I hope you'll forgive me:) Do you:)
Now I don't need too crazy a supply list as the MAJORITY of my page uses the More Amore Ensemble with a hint of Convention 2012 (the black board DSP in the background) and stitching from the Family Fun Kit. That's not too bad, is it:)
Cole is a LOVER of candy and sugar! That's all he wanted for Christmas and that's what made him happiest....we're in trouble!!!! Anyhow, had to capture that an dI think I did on this page!
Hope you like it! Don't forget to stop on over toKimberly's blog to check out her awesome video and sweet sample as well as our Facebook Group ....where there are lots of samples and even more fun. Have yourself a great day!
Good morning! What a crazy busy weekend it's been this weekend! Adam has been away at a wrestling tournament with his high school aged kids and we've been having fun.....but of course he's missed! I did manage to get some stamping time in though, which I love and the kids still have some fun with me in the stamp room. Mark has been busy getting stuff ready for the BIG AMAZING Fundraiser (click here to learn more!) we are hosting at the end of the month. Cole has been making a mess and Nathan is a colouring maniac.
I'm sure you recognize this fun layout....it is certainly a favourite of mine! Here is the supply list for this fun card:

I love how quickly this layout comes together but the "pow" that it offers.....if you do this same layout I'd love to see your card! Leave me a comment!!!! I hope that you have the most fantastic day!
February already!!! WOWSERS! Where did January go? I can't even believe we are already at February!
This card is pretty bright and if you're a Tangerine Tango fan then you'll love this one:)

Last week I shared with you the AMAZING opportunity to join the Stampin' Up! family. As I have expressed many times to you before this has been one of the most amazing decisions I made in my life! I have met so many fantastic friends both near and far and I have Stampin' Up! to thank for that!!!
On that amazingly happy note, I have had the opportunity to make so many friends through my blog! I thank you for stopping by regularly, for your comments and for your sweet emails.
To my loyal customers (new and old) I have a special Sale-a-bration thank you for YOU!!! If you place an online order (or email me with an order not for a club or class) I will cut you the pieces to make these four gems! Aren't they beautiful? The orginal card was a case from Pinterest, but I decided to use the SAME pieces, SAME dimensions and switch out the layouts....fun, eh!
I used the stamp sets Vintage Verses and Feeling Sentimental (which are both Sale-a-bration stamp sets). Aren't they fun!!! I hope you love them as much as I do!
If you have never ordered online from me before and you live in Canada, you too will qualify for this! Simply place your order through my online store and I will mail you this kit to create these cards on your own!!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by on this COLD first day of February! I appreciate your taking the time out of your busy schedule!
Take care,
Heather

OK....notice anything!?!? No Rich Razzleberry OR Pool Party!!! Well...almost!!! I had to use that sweet Pool Party Sycamore Street bundle on this little package:)
The kids and I have been making treats so I wanted to make up some packages to put them in. And this is what we came up with. On the inside of the box, I line it with a waxed paper so the oils of food don't bleed through. Just a little trick:)
The package is made with Soft Suede and stamped with Soft Suede ink with the "Oh Hello" stamp set. The banners are also done using this sweet set from the Spring Catalogue.
The other elements on this card is a little bit of stitching (done with the sewing machine), Sycamore DSP, Sycamore button and white bakers twine!
I am so happy with this finished project and may just have to make a bunch more!!!
Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,
Heather

Wednesdays are nutty days but I sure love them! Cole and Nathan both are in gymnastics, Emma has cheer and Mark has wrestling! Fun times!!! Cole doing gymnastics is SO sweet!!! He's the only class in the gym at the time so it's just six little three year olds being maniacs....very fun! Will be doing a page on this I'm sure in the near future. Nathan is a little more reserved and cautious which is his personality:) Love it!
For today's card I used one of my favourite fall back layouts. This is so fresh and fun and it makes me smile:) Here is a brief supply list for this card for you (SAB means Sale-a-bration and it means free with a $60 order!):
Sycamore Street DSP - 127540 (SAB)
Bloomin' Marvelous Stamp Set - 129651 (SAB)
Vine Street Embossing Folder - 130492 (SAB)
Whisper White Cardstock
Pool Party Cardstock
Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Rich Razzleberry Grosgrain Ribbon
I should probably apologize for using this colour combination AGAIN, but I won't...I LOVE IT!!!! I'll do something different for tomorrow! Have a great day!
Hugs,
Heather

As many of you know, Mark (our 11 year old son) learned the TRUE meaning of Christmas this year. We were touched by so many amazing people during a "different" kindof holiday season. For more details on our story check out this blog post: CLICK HERE
While in the hospital, we learned of an amazing man (Leo Larizza) that has been making an impact in our community for nearly three decades! He is determined to share the wonders of the Christmas season with children by making wishes come true. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE
So Mark has made the decision he wants to give back and make a difference! This is HUGE for me and I am so excited and proud. Mark is helping in the preparation and execution of this stamping event! There is NO experience necessary to join in this fun day or night!!! For $45 you will receive the supplies for 10 projects, the stamp set Moving Forward, a package of brights brads, treats, fun and so much more! You will also be making a difference as Stampin' Up! donates $3 from each stamp set for the Ronald McDonald House and you will be donating $12 to the TLC foundation!
If you can't make the event on March 1st, you have lots of options to support this event. I am happy to provide a "girls night out" kit for you and your friends.....I'll put together the number of kits you need, provide your samples and you can host a night for you and your friends while supporting a great cause (door prizes will be included for these events too!). These can be shipped anywhere in Canada for you. If you would like to complete this kit individually, I will send you a kit plus photos of each project.
I hope you (and your friends!) would like to participate in this fun event! Please respond either here or at adamsum@yahoo.com
Guess what!?!?! It's download day! WHOO HOO!!! Gotta love Tuesdays!
Well, isn't it ironic that I have a TRADTIONAL scrapbook page here for Download day! So funny! I LOVE this photo of Nathan snuggling his cousin, I've shared it before but this time I have it on a 6x6 page. This is one of the samples I created for Leadership and I'll admit, it was hard to let go:)
I used the Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party combintation (hope you're not sick of these colours yet:) The paper is from the Sycamore DSP (it's free with Sale-a-bration!!!) Have you got yours yet!?!?! The stamps on the page are from the Madison Avenue set that is also a Sale-a-bration freebie! Make sure you contact your local demonstrator to ask about Sale-a-bration if you haven't already done so!!!
Well, off to have a great day! Thanks for stopping by today!
Take care,
Heather

Happy Monday to you! I hope you all had a great weekend! Not really sure what we did all weekend but it sure went by FAST!!! I did have some time in my stamp room (after cleaning it - which took far too long!) and am excited to share some projects with you over the next little while! A few things worth noting....I do have a fundraiser coming VERY SOON so keep an eye for that one AND I have a special thank you gift for all you amazing Canadian customers that are purchasing either online or through me during Sale-a-bration! IF you have already placed your order, not to worry, you won't be forgotten:) If you haven't, no worries....there is lots of time!
OK, onto today's page. The page I created today of Mark mainly uses the Nobody's Business download...it's a fun and bright one. Not sure yet how I'm going to use the flowers in the kit, but the DSP, stamps and other embellishments certainly pushed me over the edge! LOVE THEM!
For today's video, I share with you how to use your photo box options in fun and unique ways. I am super excited to see how you use this technique on your pages this week!
Don't forget to stop on over toKimberly's blog to check out her awesome video and sweet sample as well as our Facebook Group ....where there are lots of samples and even more fun. Have yourself a great day!
Happy Day to you! I hope you're having a great weekend! Hard to believe we are back into wrestling tournament season and cheer competitions! Here comes a busy spring!!!
I needed a little treat container for a friend so I came up with this little gem. I LOVE the purse die and as much as you don't see it all the time on my blog, it is definately one of my go to die cuts for a quick and sweet project!
The base of this purse is Summer Starfruit (shocker, I know!). It is stamped in Summer Starfruit using the Madison Avenue stamp set (129657 - it's a Sale-a-bration set). I added the little dahlia to look like the clasp and two Island Indigo brads to hold on the strap. I machine stitched around the front and back of the purse as well as the handle. As Adam says, it makes it look so much "realer" (great word!). The flap of the purse is none other than the Sycamore Street DSP (127540).
I hope you like today's little treat container. I had a ton of fun making it and it was well received:) Thanks for stopping by!
Take care,
Heather
CLICK HERE to see all the amazing Stampin' Up! products....and remember with every $60 you spend you get a FREE product from the Sale-a-bration flyer!!!!
Happy Saturday to you! We've got a wrestling tournament this weekend....Mark's first of the year which should be so much fun! I can't stand watching Mark wrestle, I get way too nervous. BUT at the same time, he loves it and has so much fun so I need to suck it up and enjoy too, right?
Well, today's card was fun to put together. I used the Madison Avenue Sale-a-bration stamp set. The stems are stamped in Gumball Green and then each of the flowers is one of this year's In Colours (Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple). Cute, huh? I love how clean and crisp this card is with the embossed greeting! This was one of th cards I designed for the Leadership boards....so some of you may see some of the cards in the next few weeks that were on these boards (but they make great blog content so I hope you don't mind:) Hope you like it too!
It's Friday! You know what that means......end of the week:) I know, wanting more but that's all I've got for you this morning:) I should really work on getting a little more sleep and improve my humour:)
I LOVE this stamp set from Sale-a-bration. It's called Patterned Occasion and is just darling. The jeans are a fun stamp in the set and I just had to make the "old" clothesline with them. I stamped the jeans in Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze. As you can see in the close up I made the Night of Navy jeans a little roughed up....you know, the jeans your kids want you to buy that look like a truck drove over them:)
I used a circle punch to achieve the clouds on the card....just randomly punched them to get the cloud shape....cute, eh? The of course the grass was just done using scissors, quick and simple.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Don't forget to check out the lastest goodies at Stampin' Up! (Sale-a-bration, Spring Catalogue, and of course MDS downloads!)
Top of the morning to you! Well, not sure about you, I am LOVING this year's Sale-a-bration items! They are fun and fresh and meet the needs I think of all stampers. There are a few that aren't my style, but hey, that's the great thing about a catalogue...something for everyone! The other great thing is when they are free, it's fun to go out of your comfort zone and get that stamp set that appeals to you but you're not sure about....that's how I feel about this one!
The stamp set with the bicycle is called Feeling Sentimental. The DSP is from the Sycamore Street DSP pack (SO FUN!) and the greeing is from Vintage Verses. A little bit of everything.
And of course, this card makes me smile because it uses the Summer Starfruit and Rich Razzleberry combination! YUMMA!!!!
The finished size of this card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2. Hope you like the elements on this one....a little out of my norm, but I'm smiling:)
Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,
Heather

As I think you've figured out, I am IN LOVE with the More Amore ensemble from the Spring Mini Catalogue. They are BEAUTIFUL elements that are all so perfect together! For my first day's post I thought I'd share with you two cards I created using this suite.
This first card uses the More Amore DSP. The heart is cut out of the laser cut DSP that comes in the paper kit. When I cut it out, I just had to tweak the curver a bit as multiple hearts border each other. The "LOVE" is stamped using the Morning Post Alphabet stamped in Stazon ink on the Very Vanilla cardstock. The ruffle at the bottom of the card is the fun More Amore fabric.....love this and can't wait to make some fun crafts with this! I hope you like this first card!
My second card uses the matching framelits and the beautiful DSP. To create this card, I simply ran the Very Vanilla cardstock through the Big Shot using the framelits. The each of the hearts are simply filled with the DSP on the back side. I then just made it "pop" a little by using a Real Red Coredinations paper heart and the new silver buttons! Sweet, eh?
I appreciate your stopping by today! Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to visit! AND don't forget that today is download day! So, don't forget to check out today's amazing downloads!!!!
Good Monday Morning to you! I am loving this new trend.....chalkboard art! It's EVERYWHERE...scrapbooking, advertisements in magazines, stores....ALL OVER! It is so fresh and fun and I just love that MDS makes it so easy!
This page was a fun one to put together.....I used a variety of elements on the page, but the main ones are:
Convention 2012 (the background paper to look like the chalkboard)
Let it Snow (the Designer Series Paper and title)
Family Fun (stitching)
Lemonade Stand (snowflakes)
the font I used on this page is called Chalkduster (it's a free one if you google it:)
I hope you're as excited about this trend as I am! I've got a few more chalkboard samples coming your way in the very near future:) In the meantime, I'd love to see your chalkboard projects!
Don't forget to stop on over toKimberly's blog to check out her awesome video and sweet sample as well as our Facebook Group ....where there are lots of samples and even more fun. Have yourself a great day!
This bundle is BEAUTIFUL! The paper, stamps and framelits are a wonderful combination. Thank you Stampin' Up! This card was fun to put together, I used a whole lotta stuff, but love the look! Here goes trying to remember what I used:)
Hearts a Flutter stamp set
Hearts a Flutter framelits
Coredinations Pool Party Paper
Coredinations Real Red Paper
Coredinations Prime Rose Paper
Hearts a Flutter fabric
Sale-a-bration button
Linen Thread
Very Vanilla Cardstock

Wish I had an "we'll miss you BIG time card!" for today. Our new friends are heading back to Australia today after being here for a year exchange. We have had such a great time getting to know them and spending time together. I know we'll see one another again, but sad to see them off:) Adam is driving them to the airport today....insert sad face here.....
Anyhow, enough about me....here's today's card for you. It's a "manly" birthday card...something I tend to lack a ton of! While stamping at Anne's house a few weeks back, I challenged myself to using this stamp set....blue ribbon. I'm not sure it's on my immediate wish list, but I'm really happy with what I came up with. I love the NEW DSP in the Spring Catalogue that is more manly so I was determined to come up with a card using these supplies!
The card is Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Not Quite Navy. I used the Border Banter and Blue Ribbon stamp sets. Hope you like it! Thank you so much for visiting!
Take care,
Heather

What a great night! Thank you so much ladies for coming to my birthday card class! Amazing how good it feels to be back in a routine and stamping with all the wonderful women in my life! THANK YOU! Today's a PD Day so should be super fun...not sure what we are up to today:)
This set is quickly becoming a favourite...isn't he just so sweet!?!?! I love that it comes with a matching sizzlit (will use some of the other pieces on a card in the near future for you:)
Again, loving this embossing folder....isn't it sweet with the little pierced clouds? I think it's so fun! This card is fairly simple, but I just wanted to make sure you saw the sweet little border around the outside of the card. I just did this using the Simply Scoring tool.....quick and easy but offers a pow on the card! I hope your day is full of fun!
Thanks for stopping by! Take care, Heather

I'm super excited that I have my birthday card class tonight! It seems like FOREVER since I've had a stamping class! Looking forward to seeing some of you tonight!!!!
In the meantime, does this card look familiar? It's a direct case (with a slight tweak) from the Spring Catalogue. We (Anne and I made some of these gems) added the Basic Grey Cardstock on a Pool Party card and the Pool Party twine.
If you haven't seen this paper IRL (in real life - that's for you Bird!) you must! It's BEAUTIFUL!!! This is one of the cards we will be making in our gratitude class on February 4th. Email me for details if you'd like to come to this class or know more details. Hope you can join in the fun!
Sick of this set yet? Hope not as I've got more to share with you:) I'm using that same super fun Sale-a-bration colour combination - Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, and Tangerine Tango! I am in LOVE with the new buttons (that are reversable) for Sale-a-bration, and I think you will love them too! (let's be honest anything free is fantastic!)
This card is created using the Topsy Turvy stamp set. I stamped the cake layers on Whisper White cardstock and cut them out. The bow and the "table" are stamped directly onto the Whisper White cardstock.
Hate to keep it short, but I'm running a little behind today:) Have yourself a WONDERFUL day and can't wait to catch up with you tomorrow!
Take care,
Heather

This stamp set is also ADORABLE and top on my list! I love it! Henry is just too darn cute!!! This would make for a sweet Valentine stamp set as well as most other occassions as there are sweet accessory stamps that come with this set. My step dad loves elephants so I imagine there may be a card with this set for him as well!
Here is a supply list for this card:

Basic Grey Cardstock
Real Red Cardstock
Whisper White Cardstock
Polka Dot Parade DSP (Real Red)

Hope you like this little gem! Have yourself a WONDERFUL day!
Happy Monday Morning to you! I hope you had yourself a wonderful weekend! Well, today's Monday and you know what that means......MDS Challenge Day!
So I set this week's challenge I decided to demonstrate altering punches....this really makes designing possibilities endless (and simple!!!) So, today's video demonstrates how to alter a punch and how I made the sweet little Christmas tree!
This page showcases the Snow Festival kit! This Designer Series Paper is just so sweet and I love the colours as well! Hope you do too:)
Don't forget to stop on over to Kimberly's blog and our Facebook Group as well....where there are a million samples (ok, slight exaggeration) and lots of fun. Have yourself a great day!
Hugs,
Heather

Good morning! Hope your weekend if off to a great start! I'm just still over the moon being home with everyone and getting lots of snuggle time!
Mark needed to make some more thank you cards for all the AMAZING people in our lives that made him feel amazing while he was in the hospital over the holidays. After my friend Anne and I were stamping he picked this card to mass produce (I think because it's clean, simple and "easy" - Mark's kind of stamping!)
This card has scraps of paper from the Sycamore DSP (Sale-a-bration) and the sweet new whale stamp set from the Spring Catalogue. I "had" to have this set as I was thinking I'd make Nathan's Valentine's with him using this set.....I should really get on that sooner than later:)
Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by! Have a great day!
Yay, the weekend is finally here! The first week of school after the holidays always seems like a long one:) I think these sweet little pin wheels demonstrate how happy we are around here:)
This card is full of fun NEW products:
pinwheel die (sizzlit)
cloud embossing folder (LOVE this one....see how the cards are stippled)
the beautiful DSP
the stamp "oh happy day" (it's a sale-a-bration set)
The first pinwhelel ou put together is a little tedious but once you've done one, you're good to go! The trick I found to helpful was to curve the pinwheel fan pieces with my bone folder, then insert the brad into the holes (rather than trying to fold them all down and putting the brads through the holes one at a time:) Hope this helps you!
Have yourself a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
Take care,
Heather

Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalogue (which by the way, if you don't have it, I will send you one! is the BEST catalogue of year! This year the colour combinations make me so happy! This package uses Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party....SO pretty!
This sweet package is for a dear friend at work that has been just that....a great friend! I've just got some treats the kids and I made for inside the package...I hope she likes it:)
Here is the supply list for this little package:
Fancy Favour Box - Rich Razzleberry
Fancy Favour Box - Whisper White (cut off the tabs)
Largest Oval - Whisper White
Rich Razzleberry Ribbon
Rhinestones
Ink - Pool Party and Rich Razzleberry
The oval on the front of the pacakge is put on with dimensionals....of course:) The rhinestones are pretty random on the package, but I like the little "bling" it offers. Hope you do too!
I think one of my favourite items in the current spring catalogue is the hexagon embossing folder! It is fresh and fun! My only wish is that there were a matching punch for the sweet little areas. To accomplish this look I simply ran through the DSP in the hexagon embossing folder and then cut them out. Cute, eh?
Again I'm using the fresh colour combination that is offered in the Sycamore Designer Series Paper (yes, I know....Sale-a-bration!) It is FUN! I never thought to put Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry and Pool Party together. I am loving it!
For this card I used a 2 1/2 inch circle as the base for the cake. All the cake pieces were cut out and then layered on. It wasn't that bad:) AND for those of you that are concerned if you come to the class, I'll help you cut them out:)
Well, on with the day! I hope your day is sunny and bright! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care,
Heather

Happy Mid Week! Love Wednesdays! Last week when Anne and I were doing our crafting blitz, I realized I had NO birthday cards in my stash! I had given away some cards at Christmas and needed one and I didn't have ONE to be found! (not good!) I didn't go out and buy one but I was pretty close:)
So, I started thinking YOU may be in the same boat as I am! So this is one of the cards we'll be doing at my birthday card class next Thursday (January 17). If you're interested in coming to make 5 cards please email me and I can give you all the details! If you can't make it and you'd like a kit, please let me know as well! I've prepped for 8, so it will be first come first serve!
I LOVE the colours on this card - Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight. Do you notice the fun NEW product on this card....check out the DSP, button and ribbon! Coming soon to a Stampin' Up! demonstrator near you:) (yes, Sale-a-bration!!!!)
Well, I hope you have a wonderful day! If you'd like to register for my class, please email me! Thanks for stopping by!
Are you sick of this set yet?!!? Hope not! I am so glad that I purchased this one! I may just have to offer a class with this one in the new year! What do you think? Are you loving it too???
I've had fun mixing this stamp set with the "Halloween DSP" - Houndstooth and Scaringbone! FUN times! You'll notice this layout is similar to yesterday's. I tried to keep my cards "unblinged" (Adam's request) so I stuck to cardstock and DSP....and some dimensionals!
I think this owl has got to my FAVOURITE in the stamp set! He is just too cute for words...hope you love him as much as I do!!!!
Well, like you I'm sure, there is a ton to do to get ready for the big day! I appreciate your stopping by and spending some of your day with me!!! (for dimensions, check out yesterday's moustache card:)
Happy Monday to you! Well, sad to say the holidays have come and gone! Can't believe today is a back to work day and the kids are back to school.....not sure who was more excited:)
Today's MDS challenge was a fun one. Kimberly came up with this idea and I really had to think outside the box on this one. We wanted to focus on patterned paper and mixing papers on a page. I typically pair up maybe two patterns on a page....so for this page I used four and had them layered on top of one another! AND I love the final effect! Why don't I do this more often!?!?!
For today's page all the papers and most of the embellishments came from the Keep In Touch ensemble....aren't they fun? I do have to laugh though as Nathan asked me what the thing on the top of the page was.....yes, the phone! Nothing like having a five year old make you feel old:)
For a video on using patterned papers together check out Kimberly's video HERE....very fun! And don't forget to visit our My Digital Studio Challenge Facebook page....it's for EVERYONE and is a great sharing resource!
Have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for stopping by! Take care,
Heather

Can you believe we are on the LAST day of our Christmas holiday! WOW, time FLEW by! I'm so thankful to say that Mark is "back to normal" (whatever that may be:) His trip to the hospital was a little worrisome at first, but so grateful we live close to amazing health care. We had some AMAZING nurses and care and are truly grateful.
This kit is super fun! I used the All Time Fave kit to make this page of Mark....it is SO FUN!!! I am excited to make a "book about me" (really on each child) using this kit! Will be a fun keepsake (yes, I'll share when I'm done:)
Hate to keep this short but we have some fun planned for our last day off together!!! Hope you have a wonderful day!
Good morning to you! Hard to believe we are nearing the end of our holiday season! I wanted to share with you my December Artisan Facebook creation. Some of you may check out the Stampin' Up! facebook page but if you don't here was my post for this month.
I created this GEM using the pattern my friend Sonia shared with me. Isn't it ADORABLE!!!! I love this and knew it would be for a special friend:)

The one little trick on this purse is the ribbon trim I created under the face. To make this I wrapped the ribbon around a 1 1/4 inch piece of cardstock. I then sewed along the top of the cardstock. After I sewed this, I ripped out the cardstock and voila, I have this sweet little trim! Don't you love it!?!?! I think I'll make a bunch in a bunch of colours for cards for future use. Can't wait!
Thank you so much for checking out my blog today! I hope you have a wonderful day!
Take care,
Heather

Can you believe that the holiday catalogue has come and is just about gone!?!?! I have to say this was probablly my favourite seasonal catalogue Stampin' Up! has ever released. The Googlie Eyes Halloween set and adhesive eyes are top of my list! All the GREAT framelits and matching sets (especially the Scentsational bundle) are amazing! Perfectly Preserved bundle is also a keeper and I can't wait to use this again this spring and fall.
My good friend Anne Granger and I had an amazing stamping day last week.....you'll notice if you visit both our blogs that there are some common cards as we MASS produced and came up with 20 cards, some of which will be used for upcoming classes! While I was there she surprised me with today's sweet card......she knew how much I loved this set so made me an extra card! Don't you LOVE it!?!?! I do, thanks Anne!
So, if you haven't ordered everything you're after from the catalogue you've only got until the end of the day! In the meantime, I hope your day is full of fun!
Take care,
Heather

Not sure how you feel about this set, but I'm loving it! I am excited to create a little gift set of cards using this set! I love the paper Houndstooth and Scaringbone (think that's the name) from the Holiday Mini (remember this is only live until early January!!) So, rather than fall or Halloween, I wanted to show how you could use it on a "normal" card!
I first started with an envelope then went on the card size. I wanted to effectively use our DSP (12x12) so I created an envelope with a 6x6 piece of DSP. I used the Diagonal Score plate and the measurments are as follows:
Designer series Paper 6x6
score at 2 1/2 inches on two opposite sides
score at 3 inches on the other two sides
This then created a card that measures 3 1/4 x 4.....fun, eh!?!?! Making the matching envelopes just makes it a ton of fun!
The dotted curly label stamp is from the stamp set, A Fitting Occasions. The moustache and greeting are as well! Do you like how I added the little stashes to the DSP....makes me smile!
Well, I hope you're having a wonderful holiday season!
I ordered a few new sets for myself on my last order and am so thrilled I've finally had some time to use them! My newest favourite set is A Fitting Occasion! It's a TON of fun!!!
I love the sweet little images and the circle text is a fun new twist for my cards! The circle stamps fit inside the 1 inch circle and then this circle fits inside the adorable small scallop circle punch in our Holiday catalogue!
I used my favourite colour combination on this card - Very Vanilla, Basic Grey and Summer Starfruit! Isn't it FANTASTIC together!?! The Very Vanilla is just a little border showing on the right of the card - cute, eh?
To create this card I used the label stamp in the "Fitting Occasion" stamp set above the Basic Grey paper just so your eyes follow the DSP to the greetings. The I used the candle and hat in the Summer Starfruit in the circles which are popped up on the card front. I used a smattering of basic Rhinestones on the card front as well.
Happy pre New Year's Eve Day! I hope you are having a fantastic holiday season! I can't even believe we are halfway done our time together! I always find that the Christmas holidays FLY by....always fun, but FAST!
I am amazed with the participation last week with our My Digital Studio Challenge! I can't believe that during the holidays so many of you found the time to participate! THANK YOU! Now, if you're anything like me, holidays are a REASON to MDS! Lots of photos, lots of fun, lots of reason to scrapbook!
Now, today's page is a little tease for those of you out there that are getting excited for Stampin' Up!'s biggest event of the year - Sale-a-bration! It doesn't begin until the end of the month, but I wanted to share with you a FANTASTIC kit you can get with Sale-a-bration.....another great reason to spend the $60 to get FREE product (and what a great FREE product this is:) Here is the supply list:
Embellishments - Lemonade Stand, Crushed Curry Button, Crushed Curry Brad, Bermuda Bay Brad, Pool Party Brad
Stamps - Be Mine (xoxo), Lemonade Stand
Paper - Lemonade Stand
The technique on this page I wanted to share was getting the text to follow the circle shape.....again, once you know how to do this, it's a WONDERFUL addition to any page! This technique can be done with any freeform shape, so you can have your journaling go in any or every direction! I hope the video for this helps and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!
Also, don't forget to check out Kimberly's page HERE. If you didn't already check it out, we also have an AMAZING Facebook Group that is growing by leaps and bounds ! The amount of sharing and inspiration on here is mind blowing! Thanks to all of you that share your passion with us!
Thanks for all the kind words about these fun Minute to Win It games! As I'm sure you've guessed, we had a TON of fun with these activities!
This was the funniest game and had all the kids (and adults laughing!!!) Thanks for putting up with these quick posts, but even more importantly, thank you for taking the time to see our holiday happenings in your busy days!!!

Thanks for stopping by today! It is so kind of you to share your days with me! Thank you!
This game was probably the most intense. Everyone (from age 5 to 55!) were DETERMINED to stack the eight nuts on top of one another! I love that this game was also attainable for everyone! So much fun!!!
Good morning to you! I'm excited to share with you our third Christmas game we had at our Christmas party. This game was a riot! I was HORRIBLE at this one too! I think I completely lost it for our team!
For this game you had to suck a Christmas ball with a wrapping paper roll and then run it to a bucket in a relay format. Sounds easy, right!?!? Well for the life of me I couldn't figure it out!!!
SO FUN!!!! I hope you're enjoying these pages and I'll share another one this afternoon with you!!!
Hugs,
Heather

Here is the second page with our second holiday game! This one was SIMPLE to put together and was a ton of fun! You simply fold some cardstock in half, set it about 2 inches away from the edge of the table and sit across the table and BLOW! I was HORRIBLE at this game (and yes, I've been practicing in my craft room and I can now do it!) You can tell by the raised arms and cheering who was successful:)
I hope you can use these game ideas for future parties of your own! I must clarify that I didn't come up with them, some I modified but they were all found online (mainly from Minute to Win It!)
Have a great rest of your day....come back tomorrow and I'll have more to share!
Well, I'm sorry these didn't get posted before Christmas, but better late than never, right!?!? These would be FUN FUN FUN for New Year's Eve! These were games we played at our family Christmas and had a TON of fun!!! I'll bore you with a bunch of the games and activities (and photos) over the next few days. The instructions are on the top of the page, followed by the pictures and journaling:) I hope you can use these games in the future!
I'll do my best to get all the pages to you in the next few days should you be looking for some holiday fun games! In all honesty though, you could do these for any occasion!!!!
Have a wonderful day and thank you for taking the time to stop by!
