Happy Monday to you! I am excited for a fun and SHORT week! YAY! Easter weekend is coming up (quickly!) and I have to get some stuff prepped for those festivities, but I know that MDS will be my GREATEST problem solver for that! So make sure you stop by later this week to check out my Easter creations.
As much as I LOVE to handmake all my cards, sometimes I just run out of time. Those cards I run out of time for are usually my childrens' friends' birthdays. So, I decided to make up 8 of these cards to have on hand or Nathan and Cole for the next few months. I used the "On the Go" digital kit (and their layout for a scrapbook page) to create this little gem.
I used square punches to create the background, the arrow is an embellisment in the kit, as are the card and the helicopter. The only "tricky" thing I did was use punches behind my greeting and colour filled them in white so the greeting stood out a bit more (in the holes of the A, D and Ps). I then sent two sheets (that had four each on them) to staples and had them printed. I cut them out, added the button, adhered it to some cardstock and VOILA!
Again, I LOVE the handmade but in a crunch MDS has come to my rescue YET AGAIN!!!
Don't forget to stop on over to Kimberly's blog to check out her awesome sample and her video for today as well as our Facebook Group ....where there are lots of samples and even more fun. Have yourself a great day!
Thank you for stopping by!
Today's first video is a quick overview of the updates in our last MDS changes.
And the second video shows how quickly you can use a scrapbook layout on a card front! Easy peasy, thanks Stampin' Up!
