Thank you Barb for the AMAZING MDS workshop yesterday! It was wonderful "remeeting" and "meeting" so many of you and sharing my passion with you! I'm looking forward to a digi crop night! On the theme of MDS...today is MDS challenge day.
It is Kimberly's pick this week and she picked "photos". Love the options of altering our photos is MDS. I will admit MDS is NOT a photo editing program....it's a photo fun program....which in my world means you can do fun things like change the colours, opacity, crop etc. Like traditional crafting I'm LAZY! If I don't like my photos, I rarely spend anytime on them.....if a photo brings forward a feeling then I scrapbook it, if it's a photo that doesn't mean that much to me I just don't use it. I know so many of you are amazing at photo editing, but that's not my cup of tea:)
For my photo challenge today I decided to show how I can use one photo on a page but "spice" it up. I started with the photo on the right then zoomed in a bit for the photo on the left. Then I zoomed in further for the main photo. I changed the right and left photo to black and white but left the main phot in full colour to make it pop. Hope you like it!
Don't forget to stop on over to Kimberly's blog to check out her awesome sample and her video for today as well as our Facebook Group ....where there are lots of samples and even more fun. Have yourself a great day!
Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs,
Heather

love this effect and how it brings the photo
into the focal point! I want to remember this technique for sure!
