What a dilema! I saw this GEM of a card on Debra Currier's blog and I knew I had to CASE it! Deb's card had a red heart and button which was also VERY adorable! I love how clean and crisp this card is, yet simple! Great combination!
So, for my Regionals presentation about a month ago I shared a few tips on getting our customers to be interested and intrigued while at a workshop. So, I decied to come up with a way we could take our standard card size (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4) and turn it into a box. With a few simple score lines and a cut or two, you can! EASY PEASY...check out the photo below to see how I converted the card into a box.
As you can hopefully see in the picture (click on it to enlarge if needed) you will score at 1/4, 3 1/2, 4 1/4 and 7 1/2. You need to cut of 1/4 of an inch on the right edge. Then score up 3/4 of an inch from the bottom, cut your tabs and assemble! Have fun with this! If you do this, I'd love to see your creations!!!! Please feel free to email me your modifications!
Have a wonderful day! I am so excited to be meeting with some very special friends today! I'll fill you in on all the details over the next few days! Take care and enjoy your day!!!

Thank-you so much for sharing the pic and details of the conversion to a box from a card that you showed at Regionals! I couldn't get the dimensions fast enough during the actual presentation.
