Good Morning Sunshine! It's a happy day! I forgot to share with you my "outgoing" Artisan swap. The Artisan Award winners from 2011-2012 did a swap at Convention and this is the card that I created. Are you surprised....I used Bootiful! I do LOVE this set!!!!
Here are the basic "ingredients" for this card:
- Crumb Cake - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4, 3 3/4 x 2 3/4
- Bashful Blue - 4 x 5 1/4, 3 x 4
- Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper - 4 x 4
- Whisper White 3 5/8 x 2 5/8, scraps for the boots
- Markers - Bashful Blue
- Inks - Old Olive, Real Red
- Other - Brights Buttons, Whisper White Grosgrain, Sewing Machine and thread, Dimensionals
- Stamps - Button Buddies and Bootiful
I tried a few variations on the flowers. What do you think? I also did blue flowers, but I think I prefer the red...but I can't decide between the buttons and the brads. I'd love to hear your opinion! I hope you like my swap cards as I had a ton of fun making them (and dusting off my Bashful Blue card stock:)
Enjoy your Saturday! Take care,
Heather

I was lucky enough to be one who received this card at a swap and I adore it! Too cute!

The red is best and the buttons are great, BUT the brads will be cuter, maybe even cutest, if you put a rhinestone in the middle of them.

a gal can never have too much red...so, I like red, no matter how you use it!!
