It's Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! Ours was full of fun! It began with a great field trip with Mark's class, which was so much fun! Mark's teacher is wonderful and puts forth so much effort and time for the kids and it showed on our full day "race of London". Then football in Sarnia on Friday night, which was great as we got to see my aunt and uncle at the game as well! Then Saturday was a fun end of year staff "do" for Adam and families....just lots of fun stuff! Anyhow, it's Monday and the beginning of the LAST week of this school year...SO EXCITED!!!!
Today's card was a fun one to put together with my stamp club this month. There are a few "new" things for you to enjoy as well as some "old". The colours on the card are Pink Pirouette, Basic Grey and Rose Red.
I am really loving the new embossing folder, Fancy Fan....isn't it so sweet? I used the new stamp set, Elegant Eleanor on the Pink Pirouette layer, the top layer is a new die (so cute!) and then the roses are edged with some bling! As for the old, the thinking of you is from the first stamp set I ever bought (and is long since retrired) but it was perfect for this card. The roses were made with scalloped circles and then a little Pink Pirouette taffeta. I hope you like today's card!

Pretty card. I love those little roses - do you think you could do a video showing how to make them? I know the basics, but don't know how to finish them so they stay together. Also, I love the sentiment but can't find it in the catalogue - is it retired?

love the elegance of this card...wasn't in love w/the stamp set, but it has alot of possibilities; tfs & good luck, as I'll be rooting for you (at home, this yr. baah!)
