I realize it's a little late....but better late than never:) I am such a lucky mom to have such loving and crafty kids. Now dont' get me wrong, Emma is crafty and loving, but she didn't make me anything for Mother's day SO I don't have her kind gift on this page...but I am appreciative. I am not very good at keeping things or treasure boxes, I like to think I am, but I have to admit I'm not. I learned this long ago so I've always taken pictures of the kids' work, their cards, the flowers they pick for me and all the treasures some of you wonderful moms keep! I scrapbook them though so I have them to look at forever:) In my mind it's almost as good as the "real" thing. Now this doesn't mean my kids give me something, I say thanks and chuck it in the garbage....I enjoy them, I treasure them, I appreciate them and eventually some of these gems "wear out" so I'm thankful I took a picture of them:)
So, here is a summary of my handmade mother's day gifts from Nathan, Cole and Mark this year. I'm so spoiled and LOVE my treasures! Here is a quick summary of the page:
- background - Vintage Overlay, Afternoon Tea II
- Punch layer - colour matched Mark's painting, Tickets and Tags overlay
- arrows - Epic Overlays
- title - Epic Overlays
- font - The Great Escape
Have a great day! I'm sure we will....it's the Ronald McDonald fundraiser today!
Take care,
Heather
