Happy Saturday! It's an Easter treat...

Good morning!  Hope your weekend is off to a great start!  We are hanging out playing some cards when I realized...blog post!  So here I am:)

This package was made at the same time as the chick I did earlier in the week.  I just love these little critters.  I think they will be a welcome addition at our Easter celebrations next week!  Just have to get the treats:)

Here is the supply list for this little gem:

• Whisper White - Top Note Die, 1 3/4 inch circle (2), small stubby oval punch (2 of them for the eyes), wide oval punch for the ears
• Basic Black - 1/2 inch circle (2)
• Patterned DSP (Designer Series Paper) - large oval (2), 4 x 6, small stubby oval (2 - one for the nose the other for the mouth)
• other - small cello bag (4 x 6), subtle brads, white gel pen, sponge and pink pirouette ink
• oh yeah....and the bum:)  - scallop circle punches

Welcome MacKenzie!

I am so super excited!!!!  My brother and his wonderful wife, Kimiye welcomed their second daughter yesterday afternoon!  Little MacKenzie came two weeks early, so the phone call that she had arrived was such a treat!  I can't wait to share some snuggles and meet our newest family member!  In the meantime, I'm excited to share some photos that my brother shared with us yesterday on non other than an MDS page:)

What an honour! Easter basket....

What a fun day for me!  My good friend Nicole over in Australia asked me to guest post on her blog today and I am so honoured...thank you!  Nicole is SO talented and a true gem so please make sure you head on over to her blog and check her work out!

She asked me if I'd do an Easter project...so of course 3D it is!  Doesn't Easter scream 3D???  I love these little baskets...so sweet!  My friend Laura taught me how to make them.

This project uses Pool Party, Island Indigo and So Saffron...love how fresh and clean this colour combination is!

Here is a link to a great tutorial on how to make this cute basket!  I followed the image shown on the left to create the shell for this basket.  I hope you like it and thank you to Renee Van Stralen for her wonderful tutorial!  I used a 9x9 sheet of cardstock to create my basket, but anything square will work.  Each of the tabs (the long skinny rectangles) are 1 x 3 and the squares down the middle all measure 3x3.  Hope this helps!

Everybunny....such a sweet set!

Happy Mid Week!  Can I tell you how much fun I had at the Math Olympics yesterday!  I know, I'm such a GEEK!  It was fun watching the kids work together and successfully produce some wonderful math!  (For those of you that don't know me, math is another passion of mine!)

OK, so onto this sweet little bunny card!  I am so excited that I have gotten a lot of my cards and projects done for Easter and early!  This RARELY happens!

This card makes me very happy!  I really like the Wisteria Wonder and So Saffron colour combination.  I used the edgelet die for the fun curvy edge on the front of the card.  I then put the Wisteria DSP on the inside of the card...just a fun little touch.

I used the Boho Blossom punch in Whisper White and used Subtles brads in the middle.  Some of the flowers are popped up on dimensionals.  I coloured the bunny with markers on water colour paper. I hope you like this little gem today!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy your day!

It's DOWNLOAD day!

Sorry, can you tell I'm a little bit excited!  I love Tuesdays!  Head on over to www.stampinup.com and check out today's downloads!  It's like Christmas every Tuesday getting to see what's new!  Some of you have asked if I'm going to share more MDS on my blog, and the answer of course is yes.....once my MDS class is done....which is this week:(  NOW, note that just because the class is done doesn't mean you can't sign up!  All the videos and files, samples, ideas and inspiration will be up until the fall so you've got lots of time to learn, have fun and explore the wonderful program!

Alright, onto today's project.....this little chick!  Isn't it ADORABLE!  I saw this on none other than...Pinterest!  Now I did tweak it to make it my own and this is what I came up with!  I am in LOVE!

Here are the supplies I used:

• everything is in So Saffron (except the beak which is Pumpkin Pie) and sponged in More Mustard
• Top Note folded in half
• large scallop circle punch ... one cut in half for the wings and the full circle on the back
• eyes - funny little oval punch (I call it the chubby oval) and 1/2 inch circle punch
• beak - 1 1/4 inch square folded in half
• cello bag - 4 x 6

Now, imagine this filled with chocolatey goodness!  Can't wait!  Did I mention how much I LOVE Easter treats!  My favourite time of year.....my favourites are either the cream eggs or the little cheap chocolate eggs that rest perfectly on the roof of your mouth and can be slowly devoured egg after egg!!!  YUMMA!!!!

Happy Monday!

What a great weekend we had!  It was busier than normal, but that also means fun!  Emma and Mark had a wrestling tournament in Hagersville on Saturday.  It was a LONG day as Adam of course had to coach the team of 22 wrestlers but I'm sure glad we all went for the fun!  They both wrestled really well and had lots of fun!  Nathan and Cole I think had a blast as they were completed spoiled with attention and had a million snacks:)

Anyhow, onto today's sweet project.  I am IN LOVE with this new Big Shot die!  It is a preorder from the next catalogue!  We (demonstrators) could order it in March and customers can order it in April.  It's a sweet little purse die with endless possibilities!  Can't wait!  This purse is in Pool Party (still a favourite colour), So Saffron and accented with some Island Indigo (great colour combination!)  Won't these little gems be sweet on the dinner table this coming Easter?

The stamp is from the stamp set Everybunny (I LOVE this set!!!)  I coloured it using markers on watercolour paper...my favourite way to colour!

The Birthday Party Summary and a Card!

Happy Sunday to you! I hope you've had a great weekend!  Ours has been a busy one.  We had Nathan's birthday party on Friday night which was a lot of fun!  I will say it was tiring, BUT it was so much fun having 6 little boys running around screaming having a great time!  Thanks to Emma she helped keep everything under wraps.

To begin the party, each of the boys had to dress the part!  The theme of the birthday was a Jedi Training, so they each had a jedi cloak (SUPER easy to sew....I didn't finish any edges and I got the fabric from Joannes last week in Cleveland for a great price).  Then each of the boys needed to have a name badge with a check list on the back.

On the kids' name badges I had a picture of Yoda, then it said "Jedi in Training".  On the back was the checklist that included:

• consume galactic pizza and Yoda soda
• build a light saber
• save the galaxy
• destroy the death star
• final test

When the boys arrived we watched part of a Clone Wars episode (an easy way to keep the kids entertained while we waited for everyone.)  Then they came upstairs and made their own pizzas and decorated their own light sabers.

After dinner, we headed outside for a great play!  The boys battled one another with their light sabers, and they had to complete some mini Jedi tasks (in other words...burn some energy!)  While we were outside Emma hid some punched out stars in the basement for the boys.  They had to come in and using glow sticks (and the force of course!) they had to work together to find the 30 stars.  This was fun as they wanted to find them all so it took a fair amount of time and they really didn't want to come up until they found them all:)

Then they had to play "keep it up" (or in Jedi term...Destroy the Death Star).  Another Jedi test was to bounce a balloon off their light sabers as many times as they could.  Our last game was "FORCE" (a "younger" version of BINGO)  All the cards had the numbers 1 to 24 and I didn't call a letter, just a number.  They all ended up winning, which of course was fun:)

The cake was version two.  Don't get me wrong...I do love Cole...but there are times he is a LOT of work!  I had started my first cake (an ewok) and I then turned my back to get Cole's lunch and he decided to have cake instead:)  So, I put Cole to bed while cake number two was baking.  And I had to do something a little quicker and made this little light saber cake.  He was thrilled so really, I'm thrilled too! 

And the final touch was the grab bags.  As I'm sure you guessed, all the projects (invites, games, name tags, grab bags) were done using none other than MDS!  Fun stuff!!

ANYHOW, I did a great job of rambling on their about Nathan's birthday (and you'll see an MDS page I'm sure in the next few days too!)  In the meantime, wanna see a card?

This was a fun card to make!  It is in Melon Mambo, Wisteria Wonder and So Saffron!  It came together very quickly (yes, even with the sewing!)  The butterflies were punched with the SU hand punch.  I then sewed them on the Whisper White, layered it on some DSP (I think this is from Domestic Goddess) and then layered onto the Wisteria DSP (again, not 100% sure which pack this came from.....sorry:)

It's a quick post today...

Happy Saturday to you!  Well, we survived the party!  I will share all the juicy details tomorrow with you.  In the meantime I have this card to share with you.  I saw this on Pinterest and HAD to recreate it.  Isn't it a beautiful card?  I love the simplicity...one layer....really!!!!

The card is Crumb Cake, the Dots are stamped in Crumb Cake.  The greeting is stamped in Soft Suede.  The other colours are Melon Mambo and Pool Party...don't they look great together!?!

MDS Blog Hop ... Case the Catalogue

Happy Friday to you!  Well, as you can see I didn't get back to the blog yesterday...but the good news is Nathan's party is in great shape (7 jedi cloaks made, grab bags together, 4 games ready to roll)  Today's agenda is the cake!  Can't wait!  I love the age of five....I think it's my favourite, it's just such a fun age!

You're Invited....

Happy Mid Week!  I miss using this stamp set...why don't I dust it off more often?  That I can't answer, but I'm sure glad that I pulled it out for today:)

The other thing I've been LOVING lately is the Domestic Goddess paper!  I know I've said this since the catalogue was released but I've really been using it a lot lately and love it!  I really do, so much so that I think I should do a class with it....any takers if I do!?!?!

Well, I think that this set lends itself well to an invitation!  I think I will send this out to an "old" (not age!) friend for an afternoon together!  I really should do that more often!  

I have had a few of you ask me before how often I sew on cards.  Well, my answer to that is "when I feel like it".  I know that's snarky, but I suppose it's when I'm stamping not for a class and when the urge hits. I've been enjoying my sewing maching lately and really do love the look of it on a card.

Well, enough of my babbling on today, things to do, right?  Lunches, Grandma day and prep for my class!  Can't wait!

A Purple Pig?

Really....that would be Adam's reaction to this card.  He wondered who I would send a Purple Pig card to...my response...anyone and everyone!  I said I would include the greeting on the inside of the card like, Hope you feel better soon OR Hear you're under the weather OR Hey Piggie (not really that one!).  But in all honesty, I think he's kindof cute!  So in Adam's honour, today's card will be a little blog candy treat for you.  So leave me a comment today and I'll pick a winner later this week to email me and I'll send you this little piece of happiness in the mail.

The highlight of today's card is the diagonal score tool.  I have to be honest, I was not THAT excited when Stampin' Up! announced this new tool at Leadership.  What would I possibly need a 45 degree angle score tool for....well, my gosh, where has it been all my life!  I LOVE it!  I created this little embossed image on the card in about TWO seconds....so fun!  I will have other projects to share with you here (and in my Easter class!) using this tool so stay tuned if you're not yet convinced:)

Today's card is a simply layout, but I think fun!  I used the Sweet Shoppe DSP (LOVE IT!), some Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White.  The labels are cut using the cutters in the mini catalogue (yes, there is a way better name than that but it slips my mind right now).  The pig is stamped in Wisteria Wonder and rolled in Elegant Eggplant.  His little nose is an Eggplant button and then the card pops with the Sweet Shoppe brad!  Voila...it's done and ready for ANY occasion (just ask Adam:)  Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Nathan!

Happy Monday to you!  Well, our morning was a bit of a slow start, sorry for the late post:)  I had to finish icing the cupcakes for school and Nathan was pretty excited about having blue pancakes for breakfast!  So, we had blue pancakes for breakfast:)  And for dinner he's asking for hamburgers and banana bread....ok!  I love how kids work:)

Anyhow, I will be back with a post but in the meantime I thought I'd share a photo from five years ago and then another from today!  How he's changed:)  Some of you have been with me on my blog since the beginning, and that was shortly before Nathan was born.  It's fun how I've established some great "online friendships" and you've had the chance to watch my munchkins grown!  (Don't worry, I do the same on many of your sites too:)

HB Brady!

I have ONE very excited boy on my hands!  He could care less that school starts tomorrow (or that I have to pack lunches:)  He only cares that tomorrow he is FIVE!!!!  

He had the great experience of going to a friend party yesterday afternoon (yes, his name is Brady) and this is the card we literally had to whip up as we were heading out the door!  I had Nathan die cutting the letters (then he wanted them embossed) while I sewed on the DSP, inserted brads and voila!  I know, roll your eyes....you never believe me when I say quick, but it was...just like today's post!  Gotta go make cupcakes with Nathan to take to school tomorrow and get his "real" birthday cake made.  Oh, did I mention his "real" party is Friday night (the one that "counts"...his words...his friend party!)  Oh, to be five again!  Have a great day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Saturday already?  Where did our March Break go???  Actually we ended our week on a high which is GREAT!  It didn't start well with everyone getting sick at different times, but by Wednesday we were all mostly better so we headed off to Cleveland.  We had a great time and you'll be seeing the pages to prove it over the next few weeks:)  I always regret not asking my bloggers what to do in your local areas when we do a road trip as I'm sure you have some awesome tips, suggestions and must dos!  Next time....

OK, in the meantime, happy St. Patrick's Day!  I can't remember if I've ever made a St. Patrick's Day card before but I decided to make some for my munchkins today to have on their breakfast plate.  Rather than doing all green though, I love to think of St. Patrick's Day as rainbows so I did one in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.  Fun, eh?

The cards came together SUPER fast!  I just used the Full Heart Punch, stitched them on the card front, sewed around the outside edge (which I should have done first!), hand drew the stem, stamped the greeting, poked a brad and VOILA!  All in one sentence, that's how quickly you can still whip one up today:)

Well, off to plan our family birthday dinner for Nathan!  Can you believe he's five in just two short days???  My baby is growing up!

MDS...It's a Green Blog Hop

It's a Boy!

Good morning to you!  Well, as I'm sure most of you can guess I LOVE BABIES!  As much as I am past wanting anymore of my own, they are sure fun to have around!  A good friend of mine just had her second little guy so I had to make her a card of course (now can I get it mailed???)

I was originally going to add a button on the card as well on the little owl border, but I couldn't do it!  I couldn't cover up those sweet little chubsters!  So I added the ribbon and clip on the top instead!

In the past eight plus years of being a demonstrator, I've learned to stop hoarding things and also to "move on" when things retire with Stampin' Up!  BUT one thing I always wish I had was the old hand print stamp set.....but am I ever glad I waited as I love this set (and won't be parting with it!!!!)  It's adorable and in the spring mini which means it's only available until the end of April...so act fast....contact your demonstrator!!!!  (do you see the matching foot prints!?!!)

Just My Type!

Why didn't I think of this!?!?  My friend and super talented stamper, Sonia, had a class last week and we made the most adorable cards!  She used the Just My Type set for all the cards and DUH...embossed them all!  Well, this looks AMAZING and sure made the typewriter pop off the cards!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!  Thank you Sonia!

And the other genius move was using the Just Eat Cake DSP with this set as it has the perfect circular letters that look like old typewriter keys...another AH HA moment!!!  So thanks Sonia for enlightening me and hopefully others as well!  (make me feel better.....comment and let me know you too are wowed:)

We made three manly cards using the Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz and Basic Black combination.  The girly ones were Pumpkin Pie, Blusing Bride and Wild Wasabi...Yummy!

Spoil Yourself Today....

What a great greeting to have on a birthday card, dont' you think?  Although this should be a greeting we can share all year round:)  I love the simplicity of this card today.  It's funny I used the word simple as there are a lot of elements on this card but together it looks clean and simple (I think:)

I used the Sweet Shop brads (LOVE these) on the ends of the banner.  The banner is made with the Pennant Punch and the Sweet Shop DSP.  I sewed along the outsdie edge of the card as well sa the banners.  I love sewing on cards:)

The final card measures 3 x 6 which is a fun size for a card!  Well, I hope you like today's card and in the meantime, I'm off to start my day!  Here's hoping for a happier and healthier one around here...the "bug" has hit our home, and I'm ready for some family fun so here's hoping the bug is gone!

Another Easter Card

Happy Monday to you!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  Around here it is March break so everyone is home....yay!  Not too much planned...do some more work on the house, spend time together, card games, a few dinners planned and that's about it.  Nothing too exciting, but great to have a break!

In the meantime, I'm hoping to get some more time in my craft room...we shall see!  I had fun colouring this little gem.  I used the aqua painter and inks on this card to get a softer image.  I'm happy with the result!  I used the bunny and the mushroom stamp here in Staz on, then coloured.  All the Blushing Bride card stock is dragged through the Whisper White craft ink to soften it up a bit.

I had fun with my sewing machine on this card too, as I'm sure you can easily see!  I used the Eat Cake DSP on this card as well as some scraps of Daffodil Delight DSP.  

I like the circle details on the left of the card wit the stitching and the button.  I used a So Saffron button with bakers twine through it.

Happy Easter Everybunny

This stamp set is absolutely ADORABLE!!!  I have been feeling the urge to colour lately so I knew this was the perfect combination ... Easter and colouring!  Isn't this little bunny so sweet???

For this card I used the Eat Cake DSP (thanks Sonia for reminding me how fun this paper is!)  The clouds, the ovals and the scallop border are all cut out of watercolour paper.  I have a "thing" about having my whites match so when I colour on watercolour paper I always make sure my greeting or other white layers are done with the watercolour paper.

The image is stamped in Stazon and coloured in using a variety of markers (So Saffron, More Mustard, Old Olive, Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Blushing Bride and River Rock)

Then the final touchs are Lucky Limeade cut like grass, and then some fun Lucky Limeade brads!  And voila....a sweet little Easter card.  Hope you like it!

It was a busy day today and around noon (while not at home!) I realized I didn't do my blog post today!  Whoops:)  Better late than never though, right?

Today's another scrapbook page!  I've been having so much fun on my MDS class, and using MDS EVERY day that I've got so much to share!  This is a page from our fun trip to San Antonio this past January.  Unfortunately Lindsay wasn't there with us in the photo, but this is my team and I at the Alamo.

I love this kit, called Number One.  It is a little "rustic" or weathered and it makes for a fun page.  Feel free to click on the page to zoom in for a closer look at the details:)  

It's funny, I saw this page layout on Pinterest about a month ago and tagged it, and since then I've seen so many people use this layout!  Love how everyone shares and inspires on the internet!

It's that time of week again...MDS Blog Hop!

I had fun with this sketch adn decided to create a page from Emma's cheer this past weekend.  I LOVE the colour combination I used that happened completely by accident!  I used different papers originally, then when I was switching out the colours, the Island Indigo was the last one to go BUT I ended up leaving it as I thought it was stunning with the Cherry Cobbler and Black.

I used the alphabet punch for the title, CK Ali's hand font for the journalint and some random DSP for the strips (I think the black is from Jackpot, the Cherry Cobbler is just that and the Blue is from an upcoming kit called Summer Smooches).  The embellishments are the Island Indigo Polka Dot brads, black brads and some stitching.  not a lot of elements, but I'm happy with how they all came together!

Adam's away so Heather will play!

How do you like that title!!!  Well, it's already Thursday, can you believe it!  It has been one NUTTY week around here!  Adam left for OFSAA wrestling (Ontario championships) with 8 of his students on Monday.  And Adam should know better, but when he leaves me I HAVE FUN!!!  No, I don't go all crazy...I just do something to the house when he goes away!  Usually it's just paint, but this time I went a little overboard.  My friend Sonia (yes, to all my stamping friends, the super talented stamper Sonia) has AN AMAZINGLY TALENTED AND WONDERFUL husband named Jim.  He is multi talented and together (well, let's be honest...he did all the work) we got a TON accomplished - sanded the stairs (this was NO fun!), tiled back entrance, painted the front room, new chair rail, back splash in the kitchen and trim around the back door and back hall.....yes, in three days!  I told you he's amazing!  AND while having Emma home sick...poor thing but she loved it....she slept, slept, watched tv, slept:)  OK, enough about me and my week, I appreciate your stopping by and I'm sure you'd love to see a stamped project instead of me babbling.

OK, so this card is a pretty one...LOVE the fresh colours!  Pool Party and Calypso Coral are definately a favourite!  I used the Domestic Goddess paper on this card as well.  The stamp set is a little sneak peek from the Summer Smooches bundle (more to come for you on that one in the near future!)  

In the meantime I thoguth I best also share my upcoming class schedule as I have NOTHING posted yet, but so much planned!!!  Hope you can join the fun!

Thoughts of You

Thanks for all the sweet messages for Emma yesterday.  She is feeling a little better but sure is tuckered out.  No one likes being sick...but I'd say she enjoyed being home and sleeping....let me be honest, I would love that too!  She's home agian today and I'm hoping for a better day for her:)

Onto today's card....it's a "grown up" one:)  Funny that I use the term grown up when referring to a "vintage" card.  I hadn't pulled out the stamp set BFF for a while so thougth it was time!

I love the vanilla butterfly that is cut out first in the doily sizzlit die then in the butterfly die...fun, eh?  I didn't ever notice this in the mini catalogue, but my friend Laura pointed it out and I fell in love with the beauty of it!  I hope you like it too!

Under the Big Top

Wow, ever have one of those weeks (or days) with big expectations and then you get hit with a ton of road blocks?  Well, we are there right now, but will get through it!  I had Nathan home from school sick yesterday and now Emma today...poor things!  I have to say that Emma doesn't get "sick" often so I'm feeling a little sorry for her today.  So, it'll be a "down" day and the "to do" list will have to wait until tomorrow.  No big deal, right?

Well, today is my neice's 17th birthday!  WOW!  Karen was the flower girl at our wedding, I was there at the hospital when she was born and it's been a joy being a part of her life!  She is a wonderful "woman" (17!!!!) and I hope she has the BEST day ever...she deserves it!  SO, today's post is for her:)

I used the Under the Big Top stamp set and the matching Circus DSP for the car today.  I had a lot of fun making this card.  There are a lot of layers, but I'll do my best to get the dimensions for you:

• Real Red - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, 5 1/4 x 3 1/2, 3 3/4 x 2 1/2
• Tempting Turquoise - 5 3/8 x 4 1/8, 5 1/8 x 3 3/8, 3 5/8 x 2 3/8

• DSP - 6 x 1 inch circle, 3 1/4 x 3 1/2

Button Buddies...Remember them?

Ever have a "must have set" that can collect dust?  Well, that's Button Buddies for me!  I love this set, had to have it and haven't used it for probably months!  So I had to pull it out yesterday and make a card with it!  I challenged myself to use 2 Sale-a-bration items with it so I used the stripes embossing folder (did you know you could get this free!) and the Brights Buttons!  What a fun combination!

I wanted to keep the card fairly neutral so I just edged all the Whisper White pieces with the Brights markers that correspond with the buttons.  It's enough to make them pop but not overwhelming.

The snails are stamped in Crumb Cake ink and then the buttons are attached using glue dots.  Again, nothing too fancy but a fun way to start a Monday morning!  Hope you have a great day and I'll check back with you soon!

Silver all around at the Summers' House!

Wow, what a weekend!  I have been a bit absent from my blog this week, and for that I apologize!  Between my MDS online class, life, cheer and wrestling it's been a little busier than usual!  I don't have a crafty post for you today, just a proud moment mommy post:)

Unfortunately this weekend we had both a wrestling tournament and a two day cheer competition, so Adam and I had different combinations of kids heading in different directions.  AND, as great as Adam is, why would he think to pack a camera:)  SO, I dont' have any photos of Mark at the wrestling tournament but he did so well and placed 2nd in his weight division!  I am super proud of him!

And Emma's cheer team did an AMAZING job on their routines this weekend (the best I've seen them do) and their hardwork and dedication obviously paid off as they placed second at Provincials!  WHOO HOOO!!! (that's Emma's good friend Kate, her cousin Monica and Emma all smiling so beautifully:)

OK, the mommy moment is done, I've shared with the world (well, my world:) and I'm heading upstairs to stamp so I have something fun to share with you tomorrow!!!  Thanks so much for checking in today!

Thank You ... Kindness Matters

Good morning!  It's a happy Saturday around here!  We are off to a cheer competition today, as Adam and Mark head off to a wrestling tournament.  I saw a card sketch some time ago that inspired this card.  It isn't my traditional card layout, but I had fun with it!

MDS Blog Hop ... Case a page

This was a fun challenge this week!  I loved it!  I went on Holly's site and found a page that popped!  Isn't it a fun page?  Thanks Holly for the inspriation!  So I took her layout and idea and created my own version.

I used pictures of Mitts.....and I loved that the cat was in the bin on my armour behind my Live Simply sign.  How appropriate.  Let's be honest, I want to be a cat somedays...nap, eat, nap again, spend time on my own and find people only when I'm in the mood, eat, nap....seriously how fun would that be???

OK, enough of my babbling.  My page uses a photo box measuring 12 x 7.  Then I used the Number One DSP for the backgound paper.  The overlay is from Vintage Overlays in black with opacity at about 60%.  The title "a cat's" is typed on some of the digital tape (love this!) and life is a stamp (forget which set it's from....I think Thoughtful Overlays).  The frame is from Downtown Grunge and that's it!  Easy Peasy, right???  I can't wait to see your take on this creation:)

Basket o' Love

Can you believe it's already Thursday? Where has our week gone?  Between a not so happy Cole, field trips, Grandma day, cleaning up from cleaning (how much sense does that make?) and life time sure does FLY BY!  This weekend will be fun and crazy too...Mark's first wrestling tournament and Emma has a cheer competition.  Emma's a little bummed as she's missing the wrestling tournament, but all is well!  Fun stuff ahead!!! 

OK, enough of my babbling!  Today's project, isn't this sweet!?!?!  My downline and friend Laura designed this for our downline meeting last week....isn't it ADORABLE!  What would you like to see inside this basket?  I was thinking some stamped cookies and a few 3x3 cards maybe?  What do you think?

I think I'll "redo" this basket and use it in an upcoming Easter class....what do you think?  That's me thinking outloud:)
