Happy Friday to you! You know what that means...MDS Blog Hop! Are you guys not THRILLED about the option of doing the FREE 30 day trial from Stampin' Up! for the My Digital Studio program! It's a test it and try it before you buy it:) I love this so you can see if digital designing is for you! ANYHOW, enough of my babbling, this week's theme is to use a template. I knew exactly which template I wanted to use and then of course modify to make it my own:)
This first picture is the "make it my own" subway art. I've got this framed in my entrance way for Valentine's Day and it looks so cute! LOVE IT! Can you tell how I made it my own? I added a few of my own words in the artwork to personalize it.
This second photo shows you what I added to the page. I had to increase the width by just a bit so I added the words on the left hand column. As you can see I added my family's names throughout the artwork. I removed a few of the stamps on the template and VOILA!
I also added the photo on this page. The sweet creation by Stampin' Up! didn't have a photo box, but I wanted to include this picture of my family (the only one I have of the six of us I think since the summer!)
Well, I hope you like my take on the challenge this week! Don't forget to check out my new MDS online class (look at yesterday's post if you're intersted:)
Also, don't forget to check out the other hoppers!
Have a WONDERFUL last day of the week! Take care,
Heather
