It's an exciting day today! I'm on my way to San Antonio with some of my closest friends! Stampin' Up!'s Leadership starts tomorrow and we are going to have so much fun! Today we'll arrive just after lunch so we'll have the afternoon to explore..not to worry I've packed my camera and I'll be sharing!!! If you have any recommendations for either restaurants or things to do in San Antonio right downtown (at the Convention Center) I'd LOVE any suggestions you may have!
In the meantime, this card was completely inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest made by Amanda Mertz. I switched up the card colours but the layout is the same.
My colour combination is Soft Suede, Island Indigo and Cherry Cobbler (with a splash of Pool Party). The DSP is called Twitterpatted and is in the current mini catalogue...it's BEAUTIFUL! You will love it! I love that I can use a few of the patterns as well for "man cards".
The other elements on this card are jewelry tags in the library clip....love it! The bow is two pieces of Cherry Cobbler tied together and then glue dotted on the back of the clip. The edge of the card is dry embossed using the Simply Scored tool as well.
I appreciate your stopping by my blog today! I hope you have a great day!
Take care,
Heather

Thanks for the reminder to dry emboss. I forget that technique but it is very manly and adds the perfect touch. Have fun!

Looking forward to talking with you again Heather. Hopefully you will have some tips on how to win the ARtisan Award. I have been a finalist 3 times and need to up my game this time.
See you soon I fly out today.
