Well, as I mentioned last week, I had the honour of enjoying a spectacular event hosted by Stampin' Up! called Founders Circle. I had an AMAZING time! I came home and told Adam I want to move to Utah (he didn't completely object...if only it were that easy!) It is so beautiful in Utah and the outdoor activities are never ending! Being outside with friends was probably the highlight for me! This isn't the best photo (will post better in an MDS page soon:) but I wanted to show you the Narrows hike. There was a huge rain storm the day before so the silt is all mixed up in the water (hence the yucky colour). Normally this is crystal clear. AND the best part was right around the corner from this photo we walked in water up to our chest!!! I'm hoping one of my new (or old) amazing friends has a photo fo this!
After doing a morning of hiking in the water, we did a dry hike up to this amazing look out. The best part of the lunch were all the chipmunks running around us. No, actually the best part of lunch was the LUNCH! Fio (one of our guides) is also a chef and boy was it good!! Paragon adventures is the company we went through for this hike (and our repelling last year.) They are AMAZING!
I had so much fun on this hike I didn't want it to end. So, I roped Cindy and Missy to come rock climbing with me on Saturday (it truly didn't take much convincing!) We did 6 different climbs and were rock stars (or at least felt like them!!!) I'll share more photos soon....promise!
I just thought I'd share with you why I've been HORRIBLE at my emailing these past few days and wanted to let you know I'll be getting to it today and hope to be caught up by Tuesday! Thanks so much for stopping by. I may be back with a stamped project later today!!!
Have a great start to your week!
Heather
