Domestic Goddess

Well, I figured this has to be a favourite DSP for me as I am NO DOMESTIC GODDESS!!!  I really don't enjoy cleaning, I really don't iron, cooking can be fun at times (I love to bake).  So truly I am no Domestic Goddess, but I think I can create some fun things with the DSP so this has to count for something, right?

I had a wonderful friend, make some delicious treats for my family so I had to make her a little thank you card and what better paper to use than this?  I love the retro feel to the paper (although Emma says it's more vintage than retro...cheeky little girl!)

I used the stamp set Fruit and Flowers for the strawberry.  It's stamped in Lucky Limeade on the Whisper White oval and then I rock and rolled it in Calypso Coral and REal Red for the strawberry.  I then cut it out and attached the bottom with a dimensional and the top with Snail.  

I LOVE how the wide oval punch fits into the dry embossed new oval folder...isn't it fun?  And of course, I had to use the new In Colour Brads and flirty ribbon!  I'm really happy with how this card turned out!  AND, yes, I have another video for you!!!!  What is going on????

Absolutely was not impressed with this designer paper till I saw your card. It's totally adorable! Gonna have to rethink my opinion. Hadn"t used rock 'n' roll in some time and so it's great to be reminded how quickly it adds that somethin', somethin'.

WooHoo.... Another Video! THANKS Heather! LOVE the card and when I saw the title I thought you were talkin' about ME! hahahaha I don't like to clean either... nor IRON! In fact I don't own anything that needs to be IRONED for that reason! hahaha LOVE to bake & Create.... That's the perfect kind of Goddess anyway! LOL And YES your card is RETRO!!! Very Retro in fact!
