I am so excited....I am now scrapbooking 2008!!!! I have 2009 - NOW done!!! WHOO HOO!!! Sorry, had to do a little happy dance since my expedited order didn't show up today:( That's alright though...MDS came to save the night!
Anyhow, this is one of the pages I came up with for Nathan's first birthday! I wanted to play on the fun bright colours of the cake in the papers and layout. I think all the pieces come together...hope you like it! Here's a bit of a summary of what I used:
- to create the background I used the Pennant Punch (in Hello, Baby download) in Whisper White changed to 20% opacity
- Stars - anchored stamp brush
- ONE - leadership download
- title - alphabet punches
- cupcake punch
- paper buttons (brights)
- border strips from a variety of kits
Hope you like it! See you again in the morning!
Hugs,
Heather
