It's Monday and HOT LUNCH DAY!!! YAY! You know what that means...only two more lunches to make! YIPPEEE! (are you sick of hearing about that yet:) I hope you had a great weekend, we did...busy, but fun!
During my demonstrator event we talked a bit about how to make good cutting choices when creating. This is one of those cards that uses card stock and DSP well. The DSPs on this card both measure 2 x 4 which means I get 18 out of one sheet of DSP. As soon as I increase one of these measurements my paper count per sheet goes down huge!
When you keep the DSP to these dimensions you also conserve on card stock. The card stock measures 4 1/8 x 2 1/8 which means I get 10 out of one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper! Hope this little tip helps you conserve a little in your cutting!
In the meantime, enjoy your last Monday in June! How crazy is that! Can't wait for club tonight! Have a great day!
Take care,
Heather

I appreciate the tip on cutting with the CS & DP... Sometimes I measure wrong and paper becomes a waste and I don't like to waste anything! LOVe the card! It's sooo lovely! The twine really is a nice accent to your card! :o)

I always have to laugh when you talk about school lunches and how many days are left. Mine have been out of school for a month now! Where we live they are out for the months of June and July - my youngest goes back Aug 1st! the two in college will start mid to late August.
And I love the card too - my family are sailors and I was really excited about this stamp set - I wish it was in the big catalog too.

thank you for this tip, as I'm sometimes wasting c.s..the card is a great masculine card & I seem to have a problem making those.
