I am in LOVE with this paper and these colours! I am embarrassed to say that this is the first time I've used the Accents....how bad is that? They were on my first order last July, but I have just enjoyed starring at them for months....sick, I know! So, I figured no time like the present I better use them (so I'm sure you'll be seeing them again this month!) The colours and the patterns in this paper make me really happy....it is so soft and beautiful and doesn't have to be baby. I've got a second card today to showcase the paper in a non baby card.
So now, I just need someone to have a darling little boy:) (wait....there's a whack on my team that are pregnant....he he he:)
The banners were made with 1 1/8 inch pieces of the dotted DSP and then I used the Postage Stamp punch to get the sweet little end on the banners:) Aren't they fun? I also had lots of fun sewing on this card....straight stitch around the edge and then I used the zig zag stitch on the banner top and along the green border strip:) Fun!
My other sample card was done in February using none other than the Aviary stamp set! It has got to still be in my top five of favourite sets (no shocker there I'm sure!) The colours on this card are Pretty in Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso and Baja Breeze...YUMMY!!!! The Marina Mist ribbon makes the colours pop as well!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'm having fun stamping these cards and I hope you're enjoying them:)
Have a great day!
Heather

Sorry... I also wanted to say that I really like the cards that you made with this dsp, especially the baby card with the banner. I wish that my cards turned out as nice as yours do when I sew onto them.

I used the Nursery Suite DSP for my Easter cards and a scrapbook page this year. I am sad that it is retiring ;-(
