This may just be one set that I can't get rid of. I don't keep many stamp sets when they retire, but I bought this set to make cards for my brother...Uncle Buzzy. Then when my brother and his wife had their sweet baby Augusta, I did some baby cards with this set...I think I'm too attached:) I do love it and think it's just too darn cute!
The colours for today's card were completely inspired by Teneale Williams' card on her blog the other day. The black and Daffodil just popped and I knew I need to do this! I've also been having a lot of fun sewing on my cards this past week. I really want to get started on a sewing project I have in my mind....maybe after the big demo event is over on Saturday:)
I used Daffodil Delight and More Mustard ink with the blender pen to colour this card. It's tough to see but I used the smoosh paint on the wings of the little cuties. The flowers are punches with the itty bitty punch pack in the DSP (the DSP is from the summer mini). I hand drew the clouds and then added some black details on the Espresso branches (tried to mimic the stamp set). And then the final touch is adding the pearls in the middle of the flowers. Hope you like the card!
