OK, so I have that silly song "Friday" stuck on my head and therefore my title is me humming along to that song while typing:) I really should get a bit more sleep:) I have a ton of projects to share with you, just have to get my act together and photograph the hand stamped ones. In the meantime, I thought I'd share some of my Father's Day book the kids and I made for Adam on Sunday. Now, it is a little backwards, but we did the book on Sunday and shipped it off to SU first thing Monday so we'll get it next week. But I wanted to use pictures from Father's Day for the book so therefore he'll get it a little late:)
I got this idea over on the MDS website (www.mydigitalstucio.net). Sara Douglass posted a project like this a few weeks back and I just loved how clean and crisp the book turned out so I had to do the same! For Sara's book, she had the book printed and then had each of the kids write in Sharpie marker their reasons for loving their dad. I thought this was a great idea as I'm a sucker for little people printing!
BUT Emma and Mark both thought they'd rather it be in "type". Because they were both so good with helping journal their thoughts I let them "win" this one:)
Aren't the journaling boxes fun? I love the simplicity of the pages, thank you Sara! I like how the black pages match the dark backgrounds the photos as well!
I'll leave you with a few more photos from the book (as I'm sure you don't want to read all the journaling:) Thanks so much for stopping by today! I will do my best to photograph my cards today AND shoot the video of my craft room...I know finally!!!
Take care,
Heather

Wow all your kids ended up with Adam's eyes - you can really see it in the picture of all the kids. They are all beautiful Heather! Great job on the MDS pages!

What a great idea for a book!
Is there something for each letter (just wondering why there is a "C" in the corner)?

Love the book! Adam must be so proud of his kids, and his ever-so talented wife! Funny you should mention the video of your craft room, the ladies were just asking about it at my class last night ;)
