I promise you that you will be sick of my trip to Alaska but I do have to share some more MDS pages with you. I am creating an 11 x 8 1/2 inch album for our trip (the same as our Chicago trip). I'm excited about it and can't wait to share all that we've created so far. (Mark is helping to create this with me).
This first "page" is the cover of our album. I want to keep the pages crisp and clean. On the cover I'm using Baja Breeze, Basic Grey and More Mustard. The DSP is from the Travel Log paper. I am loving this paper and embellishments! I had Mark pick the pictures for the cover (the left is us on the ship in front of a glacier, the middle is Mark with his favourite dog from dog sledding and the right is my favourite shot of the two of us).
This next page is our "welcome" to Ketchikan. This was a beautiful and very colourful port...I loved the sites out of our balcony. This page uses the elements and DSP from the Travel Log set (isn't it fun!) I also used the corner stitching from the stitches download....still a favourite.
I used a two page spread on this one. I used the Top Note punch for the journaling and filled it with the DSP from the Travel Log kit. The Olive and Grey labels are from the Travel Log kit as well, and I just covered the word it came with with a punch and then put journaling over top. Fun, hey!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back tomorrow and hopefully will catch up on my emails today for you.
Take care,
Heather
