Yesterday was my father-in-laws birthday. He turned 70 years young! He truly is a young and vibrant 70 and am so fortunate to have him in our lives!!! He's a gem! I wanted to make Herbert a special birthday card but was feeling a little stumped. So I headed on over to my buddy Teneale's site to get some wonderful inspiration! And of course, I did!!! I changed up the colours a bit, but basically cased her beautiful card!
I used a few different stamp sets on this card. The main image is Love and Care (the level two hostess set from the summer mini catalogue). I used markers to stamp up the flowers (Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive). Isn't it pretty? Lots of sponging in Crumb Cake too:) I used the Neutrals DSP pack (the black stripe) on the card to "man" up the card front. My father-in-law loves flowers so adding the black helped make it a bit more masculine.
Now in typical Teneale style, I had to decorate the inside of the card as well!!! When I was done the card I also used my Colour Spritzer on the inside and out. I am LOVING my Colour Spritzer right now!!!! It's getting a lot of use! I challenge you, pull yours out and give it a squeeze:)

Love the card! The Spritzer is a wonderful tool that I constantly forget I have. It adds such a nice effect.
