Nathan's friend, Griffin, had a birthday party last weekend. We had a lot of fun creating his card and wrapping paper together. I admit, I never seem to have wrapping paper on hand. I'm not sure why I don't have paper, but really my kids have fun creating on the brown paper that comes in our Stampin' Up! order boxes...so, who needs the paper, right? Nathan did a great job tracing and writing the names on the paper and then colouring all over the package. Super fun!
The card I made for Griffin uses the Build a Monster stamp set! I love this se! It has so many possibilities and is so stinkin cute! I stamped the image on the watercolour paper. Then I coloured it in using markers and a blender pen. The balloon stamp is from the Build-a-Bear stamp set. I coloured this image in using Real Red, Pacific Point and Pear Pizazz. I like how the googlie eyes just add that little extra something to this card.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, whether you share the day with family today, yesterday or tomorrow (or in a month for my US readers:)
I'll check back with you later:)
Take care,
Heather

OMGOSH! This is soooo super cute! I also like the idea of using the brown paper from my Stampin' Up Orders.... BRILLIANT! :o)

What a cute project. I have looked at that set in the catty and couldn't picture what I could do with it - now I know!
