Happy Family Day to my fellow Canadians! I hope you have having a fun filled day! Not sure what we're up to today but am thrilled to have everyone home!
Today's page is a quick and easy one to recreate. I love the layout and the simplicity of this page (also the subject:) It's always easy to make a great page when you love the photo!
I have done a quick video on the trick to creating a circular title. It's an easy trick, but super helpful!
Here is the recipe for this page:
- Background Paper - Textured Kraft Cardstock
- Stamps - Textured Background in Soft Suede, School Serif Alphabet in Basic Black
- Embellishments - More Mustard Ribbon and Button, Baja Breeze Ribbon and Button, Cord Chocolate Button, Write Stuff Embellishments, Baja Breeze Brads
I am so excited to show you this page in "paper" form as well. I have created it with the traditional paper method and love it just as much!
Did I tell you I've received my first MDS book!!! I LOVE it! I am so pleased with it! It is a 60 page scrapbook from September to December of this past year. I calculated the cost of the book had I done it in traditional scrapbooking to be about $325 for all the embellishments, DSP, albums, page protectors, brads (everything except the photos). To print this in a leather bound book cost about $200. I am SO happy with it and can't wait to show it off to you!!! If you're at my house and I forget to show you, please don't hesitate to ask!
Here is the video for today:
Take care,
Heather

Hi Heather, thanks so much for the video and the tricks. I would have never thought to do that with a stamp and then delete it. Cole, rolling over already, and not even 3 months, man he is advanced. You had better watch out for this one. I also wanted to comment on Nathan and his speach on the video for Nathan's card. He speaks so very well for someone that is so young. Very good sentences already. I am impressed. What a great Mommy you are! It certainly does reflect in your children. Have a wonderful day.
