I know, I know!!! Another video! What's going on? I can't promise them daily, but I do really enjoy including videos and realized I missed doing this!
Today's card actually demonstrates the Movers and Shakers die. I have to say I owned this for about 6 months before even touching it. The I used it for very basic uses (ie. cutting out the shape) Then, last weekend I had some time to play with the die and learned a few things. A sideline demonstrated this at a meeting last night but because I too was presenting, I missed the tutorial. I hope this is an accurate way to create the final look (it worked, so I'm guessing it is:)
Anyhow, the neat thing about this card is that only half the heart was cut out so when the card folds the heart doesn't crease.
For this card I used the Sweet Pea DSP (the green) and the baby animal DSP (forget the name) for the So Saffron DSP. Then I punched out the hearts using the Heart to Heart punch. I punched them out in So Saffron, Rose Red and the Old Olive DSP. Then I attached them to the card some flat on the card others with the dimensionals. I used the white gel pen to highlight the hearts as well. Hope you like it!
Have a wonderful day!
Take care,
Heather

Here is a video for today's project:

Electronic age, especially the PDA, pen paper era is cold! The word is more and more people don't watch your written word appearance!

Wow! What a creative way to use the big shot to only cut out half of the heart!! I can't imagine how someone even figured that out. It is awesome!! I shop antique stores and have seen antique cards there that have shapes half cut out like that.
Thanks so much for sharing with us, Heather. LOVE all your videos.

If you don't mind using it, I would love to see more things using the mover's and shaper's dies. Thanks.

Great Card! I have the Big Shot, but not the Mover's and Shaper's, I guess you've convinced me to invest in them. Love the color combo on this card, So Saffron and Old Olive are two of my favorites. The hearts look wonderful popped up on dimensionals. I love the shadow effect if gives, and I really like how you highlighted each one with the White Gel Pen. Have yourself a wonderful day!

P.S. When my DH asks me why I spent so much money this month, I am going to say "because Heather this beautiful card, and so I had to spend $XX.XX just to have the stuff to make the card with". LOL.
