Well as most of you know the Syracuse Regionals were cancelled. However, my dear friend Anne and I had successfully and safely made it to Syracuse before this announcement was made. Rather than coming home, we enjoyed the most relaxing and fun filled few days with Missy Shipman and so many new friends! Thank you for your hospitality, friendship and creativity!
When I compare our Friday to what Regionals consisted of, we really weren't too far off. We had fabulous make and takes, amazing swaps, a delicious boxed lunch (okay box of cupcakes....but super yummy), a visit from our friendly UPS man, WOW presentations, friendship and fun! Thanks for the memories and fun!
Happy Sunday to you! I hope that all is well and that you've enjoyed some stamping time this weekend! This week's challenge was a lot of fun for me! It actually is a case from a one of my favourite cards that I have created. I spent some time the other day reminiscing and going through past posts on my blog and came across this card. It really made me happy (as well as the recipient). When going through my blog, I had a lot of fun reading about some past memories and have decided I want to try and print off my blog. Anyone know if it can be done? Wouldn't it be amazing to print it off in an MDS book? I'd love feedback:)
Thank you to each of you that participated in last week's sketch challenge! I am thrilled to have so many of you participate, thank you! Lisa Bryan, you were the winner of my first Sunday Sketch Challenge! Please fire me off your address so I can send you a little stamped something!
Like last week, I don't want to restrict you by giving you dimensions for a card. The purpose of the sketch is to give you a starting place. As you can see, my card resembles the sketch, but I changed it to make the card "work". I can't wait to see what you can create with this idea!
Remember, today is the last day for my Canadian Olympic special (scroll back to Friday's post for all the details....Go Canada....men's hockey today!)
I hope you have a fantastic day and I can't wait to see what you come up with! Thank you for playing along:)
Happy Saturday! Well Anne and I are back safe and sound! Missy was a FABULOUS hostess (with the mostess) and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Syracuse! Can't wait to share an MDS page with you here in the next few days. In the meantime....
here is today's card. This was the card I had made for the shoebox swap on Friday night! It was so much fun to do a very casual swap with great new friends (and old:) I'll try and post dimensions later, but I wanted to make sure I could share with you today. I'm off to spend some snuggle time with my boys now:) Here is a video on this card:
Well what a fun filled day we've had! I'm in Syracuse as Stampin' Up! was having a Regional event here, BUT there was a snow storm and all is cancelled! BUT the best part is my friend Anne and I are "stuck" at my friend Missy's house. Well we were up until 2 am chatting and stamping and we'll have another fun filled day today!
OKAY, onto today's card! It was an inspiration from the Canadian Olympic Medal last night (hockey....WHOO HOO!!!)
I used the clear gumball machine stamp (from the current mini) to create the Olympic rings. Then the maple leaf is from the stamp set Glorious and Free (love it!) It's a very simple card to assemble. I hope you like it!
In honour of the Canadian achievements at the Olympics I am offering a three day sale!!! (Unfortunately this is only for Canadians.)
For every $50 you spend on an online order you will receive a $10 gift certificate from me to put toward your next order! So, if you spend $50 (before shipping and taxes) I will email you a gift certificate on Monday for $10. If you spend $100 I will email you a gift certificate on Monday for $20! On top of this fun sale, you will still receive all the Sale-a-bration and hostess benefits! CLICK HERE FOR PLACING AN ONLINE ORDER
I hope you have a wonderful day and I look forward to sharing stories and creations that we do this weekend with Missy and friends!
Take care,
Heather
Here is a little video explaining the card and the special:
Well, you'd never know it but I've been going nuts with sewing lately. You'll be seeing more on my blog over the next few weeks. The scallop square is just an amazing tool for sewing. The worst part of sewing for me is the cutting and measuring and this sure takes all the guess work out of it! I had to laugh when I was in a really sweet quilt shop last week, I saw that there is a "Big Shot" for sewing (different manufacturer and has bigger dies) but I thought it was neat to see. I have actually been doing some applique as well with the Big Shot you'll be seeing in the near future!
Anyhow, today's card was made to match the bag. I am SO lucky to be visiting with a dear friend this weekend (will fill you in on details later) and I can't wait to share this with her. I wanted the card to "match" the purse and rather than have a busy pattern, like the purse, I wanted clean and simple.
Can you guess what the stems are from? Yes....the bird's legs in Good Friend! I didn't have a flower stem that was thick enough to go with the buttons, so I used the legs upside down, and voila! I hope you like this card!
I didn't realize until attaching the picture here that the purse is undone in this picture. I used the big red button from the playground buttons as the close on this purse.
Here is a video for today's card:
I hope you have a GREAT Thursday and I can't wait to "see" you tomorrow (if you're Canadian, you'll for sure want to stop by tomorrow:)
Let me start off by saying a HUGE thank you to Barb and all the wonderful ladies at her workshop last night (that includes Monica:) I had such a great time and am so thankful you took time out of your busy life to come stamp with us! Thank you!
When I saw this card on Mary Fish's blog I fell in love! I love the colour combination for this card. Now I did switch my card up a bit from Mary's but it's a pretty close case. Check out Mary's card HERE. I don't usually do a white card, not sure why. I think I like the strength of a cardstock card, maybe I'll go out of my comfort zone and make a white card...dare me?
The recipe for this card is:
Old Olive - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
More Mustard - 5 x 3 (run through the Polka Dot Dry Embossing Folder)
Real Red - Wide Oval, 3/4 x 3
Not Quite Navy - 3 x 3 1/2, Butterfly from the Butterfly Big Shot Die
Whisper White - 2 3/4 x 3 1/4
Chat Room Rub Ons (FUN greetings from the mini catalogue....it's worth checking it out!)
Playground Buttons
Linen Thread
5/16 White Brads
Happy Moments Stamp Set (SAB)
Real Red, Not Quite Navy, More Mustard and Old Olive Markers
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back with another video for you tomorrow:) Enjoy your day!
I am so surprised that I like this stamp set as much as I do! I thought it was cute in the Sale-a-bration catalogue but the more I use it the more I LOVE it! It is great and you can do so many things with this set...colour it, watercolour, paper piece, highlight....the possibilities are endless. I also used the SAB paper pack for this card. The colour combination for this card is Taken With Teal, Dusty Durango and Apricot Appeal. Not one that I would normally pick but I'm pretty happy with the final look. I was inspired by the DSP for this colour combination.
Here is the recipe for the card today:
Apricot Appeal - 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, Modern Label, Circle #2 Big Shot Die
Taken with Teal - Scallop #2 Big Shot Die, 1 7/8 x 1 7/8 (four of these)
SAB DSP - 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 (four of these), scraps for the paper piecing (two of these)
Watercolour Paper - Circle #2 Big Shot Die, Word Window
Silver Brads (5)
White Gel Pen
Happy Moments Stamp Set
Here is the video for today's card:
I hope you have a wonderful day! I'm excited to share with you my workshop projects tomorrow! Looking forward to stamping with Barb and friends tonight!
I am so excited to be doing this new challenge on my blog. My downline love a creative challenge so each week I post a sketch on my downline blog and they have the option of course to participate. This week's sketch is as shown. Then I encourage my lovely ladies to create away and change it up as much as they want....as this is just the starting point!
So now, each Sunday I'll share the sketch with you and their creations. If you would like to play along, I'd love for you to link to my blog and show off your creation! I know this will start small, but hopefully we can grow. At the end of each following week I'll be sharing some blog candy as a thank you for participating!!!!
Here is my interpretation of the challenge. It's actually a card we did in my mystery night. I hate to give dimensions on a sketch as I don't want you to feel it has to be "the same" so I'm not going to:) I'll just say the strips hanging down are about 1 1/2 inches.
The card sample shown below is from my Annie P. Love the ribbon on the middle strip!
I hope you like this addition to my blog and look forward to seeing your creations!!!
I really am enjoying the Sale-a-bration stamps sets this year! Good Neighbour (the one on my card today) has got to be my favourite, but I shocked myself and REALLY like the Happy Memories one as well! I'll show you some cards with that set later this week (and yes even with videos).
This card layout is the same as the Falling Leaves card HERE. I love this colour combination that was inspired by the SAB paper pack...Old Olive, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo.
Here is the recipe for this card:
Melon Mambo - 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2, 1 3/8 Circles (4)
Old Olive - 1 3/8 Circle, 1 5/8 x 4 1/4, 3 3/4 x 3 3/4
Crushed Curry - 4 x 4
Whisper White - 1 1/4 Circles (3), Word Window
Dimensionals
Earth Elements Brads
Crushed Curry Ribbon - 14 inches
Good Neighbour Stamp Set (cut out and popped up using dimensionals)
Good Neighbour DSP (from the Sale-a-bration catalogue)
Here is the video for this card:
Thanks so much for joining me today! Enjoy your Saturday!
I have been good lately with video taping my projects, but the process of getting it onto the computer and then making the post seems to be a lot tougher. I haven't mastered the one handed typing yet and Cole has been very clingy lately. I have to say I enjoy the snuggle time BUT at times things get a little busy! Anyhow, I'm happy to say I've done a few videos for the next few days:)
This project was inspired by my friend and sideline Lisa. She demonstrated this at our last group meeting and I have to say it's so fun! The best thing is that it holds double the amounts of candies:)
I shot a video on how to make this box. But basically you use two milk carton dies, cut off the end side of the milk carton and attach the two milk cartons together with the side tabs. I embellished the carton with Real Red polka dotted cardstock on each side. The front of the card is the new flower punch, a few circles and a red corduroy brad. Hope you like the project today!
Hey guess what, if you're Canadian and are in need of some supplies, I have the supplies from my Mystery Class last night to the first two people that place an online order:) I'll ship you all the pieces and email you the photos of the cards we created!
As promised I am showing you the table favours I made for my mom's birthday party. These matched her card and the little cake topper I put together. It uses the stamp set Vintage Vogue (which I am loving!)
I used the Fancy Favour Box in Kraft and ran the vintage wheel over the box with Close to Cocoa ink. The flowers are stamped in Brocade Blue and Bordering Blue and then cut out. I used a strip of the Bella Blue DSP along the bottom. When I attached the flowers, I bent up the petals and attached one half back pearl to the one flower. I was thrilled with this look.
The cake topper was done in the same way but had a ton more flowers on it. I popped some up with dimensionals to add some height to the cake. There are more pearls on this cake as well (a bit hard to see in the picture). Hope you like it!
I am offering a Vintage Vogue class on Tuesday March 9th if you're Canadian and interested. The cost of the class is the stamp set (no additional class fee). Please email me at adamsum@yahoo.com if you're interested.
I thought this little guy would make a cute Easter card if you added a few bunny ear ovals to his head:)
Here is the recipe for this card:
More Mustard - 3 x 10 scored at 5, Trio Flower punch, 5 Petal Flower Punch
Real Red - 3/4 x 3, Heart to Heart Punch, Scallop Square
Whisper White - Wide Oval, Modern Label, 5/8 strips for title
Red Gingham Ribbon - 16 inches
More Mustard Ink and Sponges
I hope your day is a good one. Thank you to Ellen for the inspiration for this little guy, I fell in love when I saw it and just had to make one for myself!
I hope you had a fabulous LONG weekend! I couldn't believe how busy every family activity venue was yesterday! Considering it's called "Family Day" I suppose most of us feel the need to do something extra special. Well, I have to say the swimming adventure we had planned was cut short when we saw a FULL pool and about 30 people waiting in line. Nonetheless we had a great day and I hope you did too.
Today's card is one of my modified easel cards from the other day (CLICK HERE FOR TUTORIAL). I wanted to go back to my "roots" of punching and make a card with how I began my adventures in punch art.
Here is the recipe for this sweet little card:
Summer Sun - 4 x 12 scored at 4, 6 and 8
Brilliant Blue - 3 1/4 x 3 1/4, scalloped circle, SU Billboard Alphabet
Real Red - 3 x 3
Polka Dot Folder
Creamy Caramel - 3/4 inch circle (3)
Chocolate Chip - 1/4 inch circle (9)
Whisper White - 1/2 inch circle (2)
Basic Black - 1 inch circle, 1/4 inch circle (2)
White Gel Pen
I hope you have a wonderful day and I'll be back again tomorrow! My friend, Laura, just sent me a link to her son's cookie monster creation from last week. Check out the Feb. 7 post HERE. Thanks Declan for sharing your creativity:)
Happy Family Day to my fellow Canadians! I hope you have having a fun filled day! Not sure what we're up to today but am thrilled to have everyone home!
Today's page is a quick and easy one to recreate. I love the layout and the simplicity of this page (also the subject:) It's always easy to make a great page when you love the photo!
I have done a quick video on the trick to creating a circular title. It's an easy trick, but super helpful!
Here is the recipe for this page:
Background Paper - Textured Kraft Cardstock
Stamps - Textured Background in Soft Suede, School Serif Alphabet in Basic Black
Embellishments - More Mustard Ribbon and Button, Baja Breeze Ribbon and Button, Cord Chocolate Button, Write Stuff Embellishments, Baja Breeze Brads
I am so excited to show you this page in "paper" form as well. I have created it with the traditional paper method and love it just as much!
Did I tell you I've received my first MDS book!!! I LOVE it! I am so pleased with it! It is a 60 page scrapbook from September to December of this past year. I calculated the cost of the book had I done it in traditional scrapbooking to be about $325 for all the embellishments, DSP, albums, page protectors, brads (everything except the photos). To print this in a leather bound book cost about $200. I am SO happy with it and can't wait to show it off to you!!! If you're at my house and I forget to show you, please don't hesitate to ask!
Happy Valentine's Day to you! I hope you're having a great time spending time with those you love!
For today's card I decided to try an easel card. Now, there is a tutorial on splitcoaststampers that is fabulous for this card, however, it takes two pieces of paper to make the card. I wanted to modify it (because I'm lazy) and just use one piece to make this card.
So, this is what I came up with. It was actually very easy to do, so I decided to do this card with my kids' classes at school this past week. They of course weren't excited about buttons, so they had candies in their cards.
Well, today is my mom's birthday! We had her birthday celebrations last night which were so much fun. It was fairly low key as we had a turkey dinner, games and watched some of the Olympics. Thank you Mom and Bill for the great night! So, today's card is my mom's birthday card and also Nathan's card he made my mom! I have to say it's SO adorable, Nathan's first stamping debut!
Every year I do a different theme for my mom's party. For her 60th we did a princess party, last year was a butterfly party and this year I wanted to do elegant. As most of you know "vintage" is out of my comfort zone but I have to say I'm thrilled with the final card.
I used the stamp set Vintage Vogue, the corresponding wheel and Bella Blue DSP. The images are stamped in Brocade Blue and Bordering Blue ink. The wheel was rolled in Close to Cocoa and everything was sponged in Close to Cocoa. I cut out all the flowers and attached them with snail in the middles of the flowers then I folded up the petals to add dimension. I also cut out and popped up the word FRIENDS. (I love this message of Friend for my mom as this is where our relationship is and I am so thankful!) Then I used the half back pearls in the flowers and the Kraft ribbon to add some detail. I hope you like this card! I'll show you the matching packages and cake another day:)
Nathan's card is quite simple....every stamp set, lots of ink colours and one sheet of paper:) I have to say even though he's not even three maybe there's a future with SU for him:) Wouldn't that be fun! I do love spending time in the craft room with Nathan, he'd spend a lot of time in my room if I let him.
I hope you have a wonderful (long) weekend! Can't wait!!!!
What do you think of the title? I didn't know what to name this template so this will have to do:) I came up with this after my son received a birthday invitation in a similar style. His had two sliders so I thought I could come up with one with three. And truthfully, you could follow the same template and have a million tiers (or 34, right mom?)
I thought that this card style would be super sweet for a photo card, a birth announcement, an invitation, a gift card holder or simply a wow surprise greeting.
I used the Sweet Pea DSP for this card and watercoloured in Dusty Durango, Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay, Taken with Teal, Apricot Appeal, More Mustard, Night of Navy and Not Quite Navy. I think this has got to be one of my favourite cards I've ever made and I think a lot of this is the colour combinations.
The stamps I used on this card are Tote-ally Tess, Owl Together, Party Hearty and the new SAB set with the Birthday greeting. I did a lot of masking for the balloons and when stamping, I basically only stamped the top of the balloon and then drew the strings on with a black marker.
I will write the dimensions of this card here on my post but I do encourage you to check out the video as the dimensions will be easier to understand. I have not included the layers of watercolour paper and cardstock dimensions here, but you can just make yours to fit. I do recommend making this in DSP as there are nine layers of paper just to make the shell of this card and that would be REALLY thick if you use SU cardstock.
TOP LAYER: 3 x 9 3/8 scored at 3 1/8 and 6 3/8
MIDDLE LAYER: 3 3/8 x 10 1/4 scored at 3 3/8 and 6 7/8. You need to create two slits on the one end (doesn't matter which end) that are 2 inches long and begin 3/8 of an inch from the top of the DSP and are 1 1/2 inches apart. The first slit is 7/8 of an inch from the 6 7/8 score line. (again, this may make more sense if you check out the video)
BOTTOM LAYER: 4 1/2 x 11 5/8 scored at 3 7/8 and 7 3/4. You need to create two slits on the one end (doesn't matter which end) that are 2 1/2 inches long and begin 5/8 of an inch from the top of the DSP and are 1 3/4 inches apart. The first slit is 1 of an inch from the 7 3/4 score line.
I hope you enjoy today's card and give it a try! It actually comes together really quickly! Have fun and enjoy your Friday!
I know, I know!!! Another video! What's going on? I can't promise them daily, but I do really enjoy including videos and realized I missed doing this!
Today's card actually demonstrates the Movers and Shakers die. I have to say I owned this for about 6 months before even touching it. The I used it for very basic uses (ie. cutting out the shape) Then, last weekend I had some time to play with the die and learned a few things. A sideline demonstrated this at a meeting last night but because I too was presenting, I missed the tutorial. I hope this is an accurate way to create the final look (it worked, so I'm guessing it is:)
Anyhow, the neat thing about this card is that only half the heart was cut out so when the card folds the heart doesn't crease.
For this card I used the Sweet Pea DSP (the green) and the baby animal DSP (forget the name) for the So Saffron DSP. Then I punched out the hearts using the Heart to Heart punch. I punched them out in So Saffron, Rose Red and the Old Olive DSP. Then I attached them to the card some flat on the card others with the dimensionals. I used the white gel pen to highlight the hearts as well. Hope you like it!
Thank you so much for the kind words yesterday and feedback! I will continue what I'm plodding away doing. I love how so many of you wrote to do what works for me. Your feedback and kind words help to motivate and inspire me, so thank you for that!
I have seen lots of different approaches to doing the slider for the little door on these super sweet treat cup holders. This one is in my opinion the easiest and has the most room for error. I hope this helps you out!
Here is the recipe for this card:
Chocolate Chip Cardstock - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 score at 4 1/4
Melon Mambo CS - 4 3/4 x 3, Modern Label
Pretty in Pink CS - 4 1/2 x 2 3/4, 1 x 4 3/4
Whisper White CS - scraps, Modern Label
Soft Subtle Brads
Silver Brads
Sweet Treat Cups
Melon Mambo Ink
Melon Mambo Ribbon
Chocolate Chip Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Just a reminder today is the last day for my February Sale-a-Bration Club. If you place an online order through my Stampin' Up! website, I will send you the February stamp club goodies. Thanks so much! I hope you have a fabulous day!
It's been a learning curve for me but man oh man, video on the Mac is AMAZING!!! I can't even begin to tell you how fun it can be. Sorry to disappoint you, my video isn't too fancy but sometime soon, now that I know what can be done, I may just be sprucing them up a bit:)
Today's card was inspired by my good friend Abby (AKA Ally). She is such a sweetie and not only supported the fundraiser on Saturday but she brought me some 3x3 card treats! They are adorable. So again I'm using Abby's inspiration to "make it my own." Thank you so much Abby!
Here is the recipe for this card:
Kraft - 3 x 6 scored at 3
Soft Suede - 1 3/8 square punch (four)
Real Red - 1 1/4 square punch
Tempting Turquoise - 1 1/4 square punch
More Mustard - 1 1/4 square punch
Old Olive - 1 1/4 square punch
Playground Buttons
Glue Dots
Heart to Heart Punch
Linen Thread
Tiny Tags and coordinating punch
I'd love to hear from you to let me know what you like seeing on my blog. I don't mind investing the time if it works for you, but if there is no value I'll stop doing it. Do you like videos? Do you like card recipes? What percentage of my blog would you like cards? Scrapbooking? Altered items? Thanks for taking the time to let me know what you like to see! Thanks!
Happy Monday! Well, the video is shot, but I'm still trying to figure out the world of Mac. I know it can't be too hard, but when switching from Windows to the Mac I've had to learn a lot. Anyhow, I haven't quite figured out how to edit my video (to my satisfaction) so I'm hoping my boys sleep at the same time this afternoon so I can get it together:)
Today's card follows the sketch that I posted on my downline blog for my lovely ladies for last week. It's a very simply look, but I'm happy with the final product. The three hearts are stamped in Versamark on the Kraft cardstock then I used clear embossing powder. The squares are punched out of the Sale-a-bration DSP. The hearts on the scallop square are punched out and popped up. It's a bit tough to see, but they have the shimmer paint on them as well. Clean and simple!
I hope you have a fabulous day! I've got to finish prepping for my kids' Valentine's Day projects at school!
Take care,
Heather
**Bonnie, I have been trying to get a hold of you through email. If you're not getting them, please email me so we can connect:)***
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Hope you've had a great day! This stamp set is super fun and matches the sweetreat cup holders. (I'm shooting the video tomorrow on the "trap" door) I like the added touch of the button and the brad on the machine to help make it even more 3D.
The three little hearts on the bottom are punched using the three heart punch. The middle one is popped up with dimensionals. The colour scheme was picked from the Playground buttons...More Mustard, Tempting Turquoise and Real Red.
The tab on the top of the card when pulled makes the "trap" door for the candies so you don't have to rip open the card to get to the treats.
I added a little greeting on this tab this time though so you could have a little surprise greeting.
Sorry to say there is no photo post today (but there will be tomorrow!) What I do want to share with you is the exciting news from my stampers!!!! I had so much fun at the fundraiser this morning! Thank you so much to each of you for attending, sharing in a creative morning and even better....for sharing with the London Foodbank! We raised 506 pounds of food and $310!!! That's amazing and the London Foodbank was so grateful for your efforts! Thank you so much!
Happy Friday to you! Hope you're having a great day! Today's post really excites me! I love the colours and I love the project! This bag is the "reverse" of the rag quilt purse. I die cut the material with the scallop square die in the Big Shot but rather than sewing the edges out, I sewed them "in".
This purse was made with 19 squares of fabric on the outside of the purse, then I used quilt batting on the inside and then a liner done in one fabric (one piece) on the inside. Rather than using ribbon for the handles, I made them with some coordinating fabric.
You know this couldn't be on my blog without a little more SU, I used the Playground Old Olive Button to hold the flap over.
Also, I had to make a matching card to go with this purse. It's so simple, but matches the colours on the purse ... Summer Sun, Real Red, Old Olive and Ballet Blue. It's tough to see in this photo, but I dry embossed two rectangles around the popped out layer of Summer Sun. The butterflies were cut with the little Embosslit from the mini catalogue (cute, eh?) Then I had Real Red ribbon around the top layer and tied shut with a button and linen thread. The greeting "SIMPLY ADORABLE" is a rub on in Whisper White.
Hope you enjoyed today's post and I'll see you again tomorrow! (Just an update....any online orders placed, I have shipped out the boxes and ribbon to you:) Thanks again for the order!
I am still having way too much fun with MDS! It is so quick and easy and sure makes it fun to take more pictures....like I need help in that department:)
This page makes me laugh. Nathan has his own "cheer face" and will do it on demand. After seeing Emma's first competition, he wondered why all the girls has such goofy facial expressions. So Emma told him about cheer faces so now he has all sorts of them to share! Too funny!!! I will be including some journaling on this page on the lines once I figure out exactly what I want to write.
I am super excited about a few of the new downloads Stampin' Up! has for MDS. There are Cord Buttons and the Epoxy Brads! Super fun and you'll be seeing them on some MDS pages soon:)
Happy Wednesday to you! Today's card was the last card we made at the I Heart Heart Class last night. Thank you so much to Marion, Linda, Sonia, BJ, Barb and Lesley for coming! I had such a fun night! This card was a complete CASE from Mary Fish! She is such a fun stamper and when I saw this card on her blog I knew I needed to make it! I love the colours she used, so fresh and so fun! I've never combined Certainly Celery, More Mustard, Bermuda Bay and Real Red....how fun is that? Thank you so much Mary for the inspiration! I can't wait to use these colours on another card!
I hope that you have a wonderful day today and I'll "see" you again tomorrow!

IF you order this class to go, I suggest that you add a package of the heart shaped sweet treat cup holders as these are just TOO fun and will be used in this month's projects:) The order number is 120435 and they are $3.95 for 12!!! What a GREAT deal!!!
Back to today's card! I got this colour combination from scrub brushes at IKEA. I know this sounds crazy but in the giant bin of kitchen sink scrub brushes these three colours jumped out and I knew I had to make a card...wish I took a picture to share with you. The colours are Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Crushed Curry! I am so happy with the result of this card.
Like my card the other day, this one has the little trap door in it so you can get the candies out without ripping the card (yes, I know a video will be coming:)
This card is so simple, but I'm thrilled with all the texture. I used the Polka Dot embossing folder, the buttons, the heart sweet treat container and the ribbon. Well, I hope you enjoy your day and I hope to have my February club project up today!
