This stamp set is so sweet! It's the level two hostess set from the current mini catalogue! (If you're coming to the fundraiser next Saturday a few of you lucky ladies will be going home with this set:)
When I showed Nathan this card he called it his own and wants to send it to "his friend" Parker. How can I deny that? This is one of those sets that you want to use EVERY stamp from the stamp set on one card. I think I just about did:) The images were all stamped in Staz On ink and then coloured in with the SU markers. However, the fur on the animals I actually watercoloured with the ink pads and my aqua painter. I didn't want them to be too vibrant. I also watercoloured in some grass in Old Olive. The clouds were also watercoloured with Bashful Blue. I punched out a scallop oval and then just watercoloured inside this "stencil" to get the puffy cloud look.
This card follows the sketch this week on my downline blog. The colours are Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo! Very bright, but very fun! Brings a little sunshine inside on some of these dreary days! The DSP is from the Sale-a-bration paper pack. I actually stamped the greeting on the DSP as well. The button is from the mini catalogue, a Pretty In Pink Cord Button with the Linen Thread tied in a bow on the button.
I hope you enjoy today's card! I'll have my Feb. stamp club project to post tomorrow for you! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a GREAT day!
