I saw something like this at Convention on one of the display shelves and I knew RIGHT away I would have to make it! I think I was with Anne at the time of seeing it and she just rolled her eyes as I snapped a million and one photos of Halloween treats and scrapbook pages and cards! Anyhow, I didn' t have the dimensions and actually even a clear photo so this was my modified version.
Here the approximate dimensions:
Basic Black - 5 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 and then from 2 1/2 at each end to the edge of the middle score line (check out the video if I've totally confused you)
Basic Black - 7 x 1 3/4 then cut on an angle to match the hat (this is the rim of the hat)
The images are from the super cute Halloween set Hoot Hoot (I think that's what it's called, or at least it should be:) They are stamped in StazOn then watercoloured in. All the edges were dragged in Basic Black ink to distress the edges. The ribbon is the 5/8 Old Olive Grosgrain. The stars are stamped in our silver ink. Hope you like the project!
I think I'm going to use this for one of my kid's teachers this year and then make miniature boxes for each of the kids! Wouldn't that be fun! You could also use this idea for a Harry Potter themed birthday and have this be the sorting hat....endless possiblities! Have a great day!

Heather, I have seen this box on my sites but I have never seen it demonstrated - so thank you so much.....
As for the Videos, please keep doing them - some of us are visually impaired and have to see it being done before we understand how to do it. PDF's are also helpful though.
I also wish October was tomorrow (only because of Halloween of course). I can't wait to see what other creations you come up with.
Heather, YOU ROCK........
