Wow, can you believe it's that time of year again! I am so excited to announce the details of my upcoming GI Cancer fundraiser. Before I do that, I'd like to fill you in on a few of the details. My dad passed away at a very young age, in January of 2004. The first Christmas after he passed away, Emma and I (Emma who was 4 1/2 at the time) stamped cards and sold them to raise money in my dad's name. This annual tradition of carrying on my dad's spirit and belief in giving back has grown into a full day event that I share with my wonderful team of demonstartors (Simply Stars) and my family as well. I do believe that at the end of this year's event we will reach $10000 in donations in my dad's name over the past five years. As you can see this event is very special to me and so many of
you keep returning to this event year after year which I thank you for! This year is going to be amazing and we already have so much planned and ready for you! I'm so excited to share the details with you:
When: Saturday, October 24
9:30 to 12 OR 1 to 3:30
Where: Kings’ University College
Cost: $40 which includes the stamp set Four Holidays (shown on the bottom of the flyer), 10 stamped projects (6 cards – 2 of each design, 2 tags and 2 packages) and $10 of this is donated to GI Cancer Research if paid by October 1st. ($45 after October 1st) I know, can you believe it!?!?!? All this for only $40!!!!!
PLUS, there will be some snacks and refreshments and there will be 100 door prizes!!!!!
We will also have a HUGE variety of raffle items. Some of these items may be stamping related but many of them are not and would make fabulous Christmas gifts. We will also have a 50/50 draw in both sessions, with 50% of the proceeds going to GI Cancer research and the other percentage to the winner for a stamp order!
If you are not able to attend this event, kits are available and will include full instructions! (I will ship these kits anywhere in Canada)
Tickets are limited so please ask your friends, mark it on your calendar and come join us for a fun day of stamping! No experience necessary!!!
This year will be slightly different for me as my due date is only 4 days after this event(I know so many of you think I'm nuts but, well, I am!) I will be limiting my tickets so all I ask is that you commit early to this event! I am hoping to have my projects cut, bagged and ready to go by the end of September. Thank you for your help in this department:) I'll keep you posted on my blog how tickets are going on a weekly basis.
Here is a flyer for you if you'd like to pass it along to your friends or coworkers, anyone that might be interested in a fun half day out of creating, sharing and friendship.
