I keep seeing these beautifully scalloped edges on cards on splitcoaststampers so I had to figure out how to create "the edge". So, last night's mission was to play with my punches until I figured it out. And here goes:
2. Take the corner guide (the black plastic piece) off the small corner rounder punch as shown in picture.
3. I start on the right edge and work left. I'm sure you can go the other way but this is what I did. Starting on the right hand edge, place the corner punch so it is level and punch. When I looked at the punch I kept thinking I would end up with a V but after trying this on scrap paper first I realized how it works.
4. Continue punching the curve along the bottom of your cardstock. Be careful when you punch and watch where you overlap. If you are too far apart, you get a 'funny' curve in between scallops and if you punch too close you get a 'wonky' notch in your scallop.
Have fun trying this with the different sized corner rounders. You can also use this punch to make a scallop around a circle or other shaped pieces of cardstock!
